Nairobi to Aberdares National Park
Your driver-guide meets you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and gives you a safari briefing before heading to Aberdares National Park. You'll have lunch at the hotel, then the rest of the afternoon and evening are free. Dinner happens later at your accommodation.

Aberdares National Park to Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll drive north to Samburu Game Reserve and arrive in time for lunch. The afternoon brings game drives through this reserve, which was historically significant as the home where conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness. You'll also learn about the local Samburu tribe.

Samburu National Reserve
Breakfast comes first, then you spend the full day on game drives throughout Samburu Game Reserve with picnic lunch boxes provided. You'll see authentic African wilderness and get to know the Samburu tribe's nomadic cattle-herding traditions, which share similarities with Maasai culture.

Samburu National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you head to Lake Nakuru National Park for game drives. The park holds Kenya's largest rhino population, features the beautiful Makalia waterfalls and Lion Hills, and has yellow acacia woodlands throughout. Birdlife here includes flamingoes and pelicans, making it great for photography.

Lake Nakuru National Park to Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Following breakfast, you'll drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve and arrive in time for lunch at your hotel. The afternoon includes your first game drive. This reserve is well-known for the Big Five and has been featured in documentaries like Big Cat Diary and Disney's African Cats.

Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Breakfast starts your day before a full schedule of game drives in Maasai Mara, with morning and afternoon sessions separated by lunch. You have the option to upgrade to an early morning hot air balloon ride, which means pickup at 5:30 am and a bird's eye view of wildlife before breakfast at the launch site.

You'll have breakfast at the hotel, then drive back to Nairobi. Optional lunch at a city restaurant is available but you arrange and pay directly. From there, you head to the airport for your flight home.
