Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
You'll land in Nairobi and connect with your guide at the airport. From there, it's a 4 to 5 hour drive in a 4x4 vehicle heading toward Masai Mara National Reserve. The route takes you around Mount Suswa through Maai Mahiu, and along the way you'll see Mount Longonot, Hell's Gate National Park, and Lake Naivasha. By evening you'll reach Masai Mara Sopa Lodge, which serves as your base for the next few days of wildlife exploration.

Masai Mara
This morning starts early with a game drive into Masai Mara National Reserve. After breakfast back at the lodge, you'll head out again for a second game drive, spending the day watching for the Big 5 and the more than 500 bird species that live here. It's a full day of wildlife watching in one of Africa's most well-known reserves.

Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
You'll leave Masai Mara behind and drive to Lake Naivasha, taking a scenic route from Narok through Maai Mahiu. This freshwater lake sits surrounded by green plains and supports a large flower industry. You'll check in at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort, which has views out over the lake and the landscape beyond.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli
This morning you'll visit a traditional Masai Village to see their dances and learn about their nomadic way of life and customs. After that cultural experience, you'll continue driving to Amboseli National Park. Mount Kilimanjaro will come into view as your backdrop for the rest of your time in the region.

Amboseli
The day begins with a morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. You'll see elephants walking across the landscape with Mount Kilimanjaro's silhouette in the distance. The park has both arid stretches and greener oases, and you'll spot giraffes, wildebeest, lions, and about 400 bird species. You're staying at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Amboseli to Tsavo West
You'll head southeast into Tsavo West National Park, a landscape with lots of hidden natural features. The drive includes a picnic lunch break, then an afternoon game drive where you can see the park's well-known black-maned lions and other wildlife. Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge will be your base, positioned with panoramic views across the park.

Tsavo West to Mombasa South Coast
Morning brings another game drive in Tsavo West so you can see the park's varied habitats and animal life. After that, you'll travel toward Mombasa and the tropical coast. By afternoon you'll arrive at Leopard Beach Resort & Spa on the South Coast, where you'll have a Superior Room and access to all-inclusive amenities.

Wasini Island Excursion
Today is a full-day coastal trip to Wasini Island. You'll start with a traditional dhow cruise in Swahili style, followed by a Swahili breakfast. Later you'll go snorkeling in Kisite Marine National Park to see the coral and fish underwater. The day finishes with a fresh seafood meal prepared on the island.

Mombasa South Coast to Mombasa
Your trip ends with a transfer from Mombasa South Coast back to Mombasa for your departure. You'll leave with memories from the wildlife reserves, the elephant herds under Mount Kilimanjaro, Tsavo's raw landscape, and the tropical coast along the Indian Ocean.
