Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Siem Reap
You'll arrive at the airport where a local representative meets you for the transfer to your hotel in Siem Reap. Check-in happens at 2:00 pm, so you'll have time to settle into your room and get oriented. The evening is yours to arrange dinner wherever you'd like and rest up before the main activities begin tomorrow.
- Day 2
Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat
This is a full day exploring the temples around Siem Reap. Start in Angkor Thom's ancient walled city, walking through the South Gate and seeing Bayon Temple with its famous carved faces. From there you'll check out the Terrace of the Elephants and the Royal Palace area, then head to Phimeanakas pyramid and the Terrace of the Leper King. After lunch, move on to Ta Prohm temple where massive tree roots wrap around the stone structures. Later in the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat temple complex, the largest and most recognizable site. By evening, you're free to wander around the Angkor night market and find a bar or pub that appeals to you.

Killing Field, Silk Artisans, Floating Villages, and Local Markets
Start your morning at Wat Thmei to learn about Cambodia's Killing Field history and the Khmer Rouge period. After that, head to Artisans d'Angkor silk workshop in Puok where you'll watch the entire process from raising silkworms through to weaving. You'll tour the West Baray reservoir and then take a traditional wooden boat onto Tonle Sap lake to see floating villages and experience how locals live on the water. Later, visit Wat Bo pagoda to see its 19th-century wall paintings, browse the local market for souvenirs, and finish at Les Artisans d'Angkor crafts center before returning to your hotel.
