- RJRichard· November 13th, 2025What an experience we thought maybe see a few animals in the wild not into thousands. It was truly unbelievable no one could have or made me believe that there were so many animals to see. We gave up on taking photos of Wilderbest, Zebra and Thomson Gazelle there that many of them but to see so many of the big five was another experience especially having them outside your lodge. Elephants and Cape buffalo visiting you outside your door it was fantastic. Our guide was an unexpected surprise I noticed the first day how all the other guides and rangers greeted him and asked him why was everyone so welcoming to him. I asked are you a chief or someone special due to the respect he was receiving from everyone. A couple of days later it was all revealed when we came up upon a lion kill of a cape buffalo. There were about 20 land cruisers sitting not moving for about 30 minutes and our guide got on the radio and spoke in swahilli and no one answered back, they just stated moving on so others could see and take photos no one else hogged the area. Then I asked who was he really a Chiefs son might have some pull but not that much. Then he revealed his true importance and position amongst the people. This was confirmed to me my a number of staff at the lodge I could not believe I was being driven around by a prince of the Massi. No wonder he was getting the info to where to take us to see the most of everything. Other than only seeing 1 Rhino the next least seen species was the Leopard we seen six in three days in the Serengetti, The number of species we seen was amazing no one could have convinced me that I would see so many and our driver had all the contacts. The hotels were good and the meals were fine but it's all about the experience of see the multitude of animals it was out of this world and could not believe I would see so much Thanks Arthunas for being our guide and a job well done. And a special note for Joyce who we contacted on information on the trip her service was exemplary in getting back so promptly with all our concerns and queries I have been through a number of different operators and can only find a few as good as her but she was the best I've seen . Dominc· October 8th, 2025This was a great experience. Danny was a terrific guide and was able to really cater our trip to our specific interests. He was extremely knowledgable and very fun to talk to. He always seemed to know exactly what was going on everywhere, and he made us feel like VIPs. The national parks were incredible, and we were really glad to have had plenty of experiences to go to local markets and learn more about several of the many different tribes in northern Tanzania. Everywhere we stayed was quite comfortable, and all of the stops were very well thought out. Overall, it was a great time. I highly recommend it.Show more

Asked on July 8th, 2025I want to witness the Great Migration, is it possible with this tour?
World Adventure ToursOperator•Written July 2025Yes, you can see the Great Migration in the Central Serengeti with the current plan. The herds usually pass through this area between April and June, and again around October to early November. It's a good place to see many animals moving together. However, if you want to see the dramatic river crossings, those mostly happen in the Northern Serengeti, especially at the Mara River, between July and September.

Traveler•Written July 2025Can you help with the Northern Serengeti. I know that there is violence and protest in Nairobi. Do I need to go to Kenya to see the Great Migration?
World Adventure ToursOperator•Written July 2025If we keep the current plan as it is and only change 2 nights from Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti, there will be an extra charge of USD 300 for the accommodation in Northern Serengeti for those 2 nights. In Kenya, the dramatic river crossings at the Mara River usually take place around July and August. However, please note that the migration is highly unpredictable and exact timings can vary each year.

Traveler•Written April 2024When you said the driving per day you are saying three hours total, usually, 1.5 hours to get to the venue and 1.5 hours to get back? Is the HighView Motel the same as the High View Coffee Lodge?
World Adventure ToursOperator•Written April 2024Highview Hotel is not the same as Highview Coffee Lodge, although they are on the same compound. We offer similar accommodation, and in the event of unavailability, preference is given to the hotel we have mentioned. Highview Hotel is the central location for accessing different destinations.
