Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Jagat
Your guide picks you up from your Kathmandu hotel and you'll start driving toward Jagat through Besisahar. The road winds through fertile valleys with terraced fields as you leave the city behind and head toward the Annapurna foothills. This scenic drive gives you your first real sense of what the trek will be like over the next couple weeks.

- Day 2
Jagat to Dharapani
Starting from Jagat, you'll trek to Dharapani walking through lush forests and passing by quaint villages along the way. Suspension bridges help you cross the Marsyangdi River as the terrain shifts and becomes more mountainous. The diverse landscape shows you how the terrain changes as you move deeper into the Annapurna Circuit.

Dharapani to Chame
The route to Chame takes you through pine forests and charming hamlets with more suspension bridges crossing the river. You'll see views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal as you climb higher into the mountains. By the end of the day you're starting to feel like you're really in the heart of the range.

Chame to Pisang
From Chame you'll trek toward Pisang passing through villages with Tibetan influences and colorful prayer flags. The landscape shifts as you climb from subtropical forests into more arid terrain. Panoramic views of the Annapurna range and Marsyangdi Valley keep appearing as you gain elevation.

Pisang to Manang
You'll trek from Pisang to Manang with views of Annapurna and Gangapurna peaks throughout the day. The landscape continues transforming into high-altitude desert terrain as you ascend higher. This is where you're getting into the unique environment that makes the Annapurna Circuit special.

- Day 6
Manang
Spend this day in Manang acclimatizing to the altitude, which is important before pushing higher. You can walk around the village at your own pace and explore the local area at a comfortable speed. Return to your accommodation for rest, giving your body time to adjust to the elevation.

Manang to Siri Kharka
You'll head out through Manang's western gates and descend to the river, then cross it to walk through coniferous forests on the southern side. The path takes you toward Kangsar Village before heading uphill to Siri Kharka, passing by a monastery. Views of Gungang Himal and Mount Chulu come into sight as you climb.

Landmarks Gungang Himal Mount Chulu Kangsar Village - Day 8
Siri Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp
Trek to Tilicho Base Camp along narrow paths, some of which pass through areas that can be unstable from landslides. The terrain isn't particularly steep but it can be tiring, and you'll see impressive rock formations along the way. You'll arrive at base camp ready for the next day's climb.

- Day 9
Tilicho Base Camp to Tilicho Lake and return to Siri Kharka
This is a 5 to 6 hour climb up toward Tilicho Lake, reaching the base of Tilicho Peak where the lake sits. You might see yaks and deer grazing, and the lake itself shows off different shades of blue depending on the light. After spending time there and taking photos, you'll trek back down to Siri Kharka for the night.

Landmarks Tilicho Lake Tilicho Peak - Day 10
Siri Kharka to Yak Kharka
Descend from Siri Kharka toward Khangsar Village passing the Tare Gumba monastery. The route continues through the unpopulated Khangsar area before you cross a seasonal bridge in the Thorang Khola valley. From there you climb to a plateau and arrive at Yak Kharka.

Landmarks Tare Gumba Khangsar Village - Day 11
Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi or High Camp
You'll gradually climb higher while following the east bank of the Jarang Khola heading toward Thorong Phedi. There's an optional push for one more hour to High Camp at 4,800m/15,750 ft if you're feeling strong. Watch for blue sheep, snow leopards, and the rare Lammergeyer bird in this high mountain terrain.

- Day 12
Thorong Phedi to Muktinath
This is the toughest day with 7 to 8 hours of hiking at high altitude, and you might encounter strong winds along the way. Sheep, yaks, and merchants use this route too. You'll reach Thorong La Pass at 5,416m/17,770 ft where views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Khatungkang surround you. Then you descend about 1,600 meters down to Muktinath.

- Day 13
Muktinath to Pokhara
After breakfast you'll take a local bus from Muktinath to Pokhara, passing through Jomsom, Tatopani, and Beni Bazaar along the way. You'll arrive in Pokhara and stay near Phewa Lake where you can check out lakeside shops. In the evening watch the sunset over the Annapurna ranges from the water.

Landmarks Phewa Lake - Day 14
Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast you'll head back to Kathmandu either by tourist bus or by taking a flight from Pokhara (available at extra cost). Your trek ends in Kathmandu with a farewell dinner where you can reflect on the past two weeks in the mountains.
