Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Cairo

    You'll arrive in Cairo and connect with your professional guide who handles visa processing and shows you around the city. After a private transfer to your hotel, you'll have the rest of the day to settle in and relax. This gives you time to adjust to the time zone and get comfortable in your accommodation.

  2. Day 2

    Cairo

    Breakfast features traditional Egyptian food before you head out to explore Cairo's key sites. You'll see the Pyramids of Giza with an English-speaking guide, walking around the Great Sphinx, Great Pyramid, and Pyramid of Khufu. Later in the evening, you can choose between catching a light show at the Giza Pyramids or having dinner on a floating restaurant along the Nile.

    Cairo to Luxor

    After breakfast at your hotel, you have a free day to do as you wish. There's an optional full-day tour covering the Metropolitan Museum with Tutankhamun treasures, the historic UNESCO area with the Citadel of Saladin, Khan el Khalili bazaar, and the Coptic neighborhood with the Hanging Church, Saints Sergius and Wachus Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Later in the afternoon, you'll transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor, then board your Nile River cruise ship for dinner.

  4. Day 4

    Luxor

    After breakfast you'll visit the temples of Luxor and Karnak, dedicated to gods Amun and Ra. You'll walk through the line of sphinxes connecting both temples while learning about pharaohs. From there, you'll cross the Nile to the Necropolis of Thebes and Valley of the Kings with 62 pharaonic tombs. You'll see the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the funerary temple of Ramses III, and the Colossi of Memnon. Back on the cruise ship, you'll sail toward Esna.

    Edfu to Kom Ombo

    You'll catch an Egyptian sunrise in Edfu, then have breakfast onboard. A traditional carriage ride takes you to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. After returning to the ship for lunch, you'll sail to Kom Ombo to see the temple dedicated to Haroeris and Sobek, plus an exhibition of preserved mummified crocodiles. Dinner happens onboard before you sail toward Aswan through the evening.

This journey shows you Elephantine Island with its history of ivory trade and Kitchener Island with its botanical garden and views of the Agha Khan Mausoleum. You'll also visit the Aswan High Dam and Philae Island to see the temple dedicated to goddess Isis. Later you'll return to the cruise ship for the night.

    After breakfast and a short rest at your Aswan hotel, you'll head out in the afternoon to the Temples of Abu Simbel. These rock-carved structures were relocated to protect them from the Nile. You'll see the Temple of Ramses II with its statues and Nefertari's temple. As evening arrives, a light and sound show reveals the history of these ancient sites. You'll return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    You'll transfer to Cairo Airport to check in luggage and handle any tax refunds on tax-free purchases. After boarding your flight to Dubai, you'll arrive at Dubai Airport where an English-speaking team member meets you, provides trip details, and gives a quick overview of the city. A private vehicle takes you to your hotel. You can rest or start exploring this modern city at your own pace.

    Dubai

    After a buffet breakfast at your hotel, you'll start a half-day guided tour of Classic Dubai. You'll walk through the historic Bastakia area with its merchant houses, galleries, restaurants, and cafes. An Abra river taxi crosses Dubai River to the Spices and Gold Souks with their narrow alleys full of fragrances, spices, incense, and herbs. You'll also see the Jumeirah area with Sheikh palaces, the Jumeirah Mosque, and Burj Al Arab. The tour includes views of Sheikh Zayed Road and Burj Khalifa before returning to your hotel to relax or explore.

    After a hearty breakfast, your guide picks you up to travel to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. You'll pass through Jebel Ali and its Free Zone, then visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque with capacity for 40,000 people. You'll check out the Al Bateen area with Royal Palaces and walk the Corniche promenade for photos of Emirates Palace Hotel. Later you'll explore Saadiyat Island's cultural district, including the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum with over 600 artworks, and the House of the Abrahamic Family. You'll transfer to your Abu Dhabi hotel for the night.

    Abu Dhabi to Dubai

    After breakfast you'll transfer to Dubai and check in at your hotel with free time to relax. Between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., your guide picks you up for a desert safari excursion in 4x4 vehicles through sand dunes with opportunities to slide and have fun. You'll see camel farms for photos, then stop to watch the Arabian sunset. At a traditional Arab camp you'll enjoy grilled dishes, fresh salads, meats, chicken, and regional fruits. A folkloric show with belly dancing happens during dinner before you return to your hotel.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
