- Lisa· October 2nd, 2025This Outlander tour was wonderful. It was booked with Rabbies which was excellent. The group was a group of 15 people which I liked. The bugs driver/ tour guide Lizzie was fantastic. Super sweet and chock full of stories and knowledge. The itinerary and overall organization was good. I felt we did a lot more Outlander heavy stuff on day 1 and day 4 which I loved. In the town of Falkland, we had dinner and further spend much time exploring there and got tons do some photos but that felt a bit rushed and this town I looked forward to see while area small, I wanted to soak in a bit more. We entered all castles with no issues as 99% of them came pre booked or were free to enter with exception of midhope castle. The accommodations provided were both excellent in my opinion. I was very happy where I stayed and had a full Scottish breakfast at both places. During the tour there were plenty of times bathroom breaks and a lunch break. The tour bus was easy to find in Edinburgh with the instructions provided and we were dropped off same location with ease. I highly recommend.Show more

Asked on June 10th, 2024we now need a driver added to self drive tour. or better still on cost savings a small group bus tour. it need not be accessible. i can walk short distances and do short stairs. only need wheelchair for long walks. do not need special hotels or vans, but prefer 4* hotels . if. arduous hikes i can skip them as needed. interested in scenery not adventure.
On The Go ToursOperator•Written June 2024we don't offer a self drive tours in Iceland nor a private itineraries. We only offer a group tours in Iceland. I have checked all our departures in June and unfortunately we don't have any available departures around 17th June. The first possible departure will be on 24th, I'm afraid we won't be able to offer any earlier departure.
