Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Ngorongoro
Your driver picks you up from your hotel or meeting point in Arusha and goes over what to expect from the safari. You'll drive across the Ardai Plains, passing through scenic Karatu and Mto wa Mbu village before climbing the Western Wall of the Rift Valley to reach Ngorongoro. After getting checked in at your lodge, the afternoon and evening are free to rest and settle in.

- Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast, you head down into the crater for a half-day game drive on the floor with packed lunch. The caldera is a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, cheetahs, hyenas, and various antelope and bird species. You might see fossils related to human evolution from 3.6 million years ago. By early afternoon you're back at the lodge for dinner and rest.

- Day 3
Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara
After breakfast you travel from Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Lake Manyara. Check into your lodge and have lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive at the national park until around 6pm. Watch for the park's famous tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos (more visible during wet season). With over 400 bird species here, bird watchers will find plenty to see.

Lake Manyara to Arusha
Following breakfast and checkout, you drive back toward Arusha. Optional lunch is available at a restaurant along the way before transfer to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport, wrapping up your safari.
