  1. Day 1

    Rome

    You'll arrive at Rome Airport and get transferred to your hotel. Settle in and relax for the afternoon. At 19:45, join a nighttime bus and walking tour that takes you through Rome's landmarks under the moonlight. The tour wraps up at Spanish Steps where you'll grab gelato before heading back to your hotel on your own.

  2. Day 2

    Florence

    Breakfast starts at 07:15 AM before you head out from Assisi by luxury bus. Spend time exploring the medieval city and the Basilica di San Francesco, where you'll see frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue. After lunch on your own, you'll continue to Siena to walk through the historic medieval center and see Piazza del Campo and the Siena Duomo with its distinctive black and white striped columns. End the evening in Florence with dinner and an overnight stay.

  3. Day 3

    Pisa (optional)

    Following breakfast, take a panoramic tour through Florence's historic center visiting Giotto's Tower, the Baptistery, and the Duomo with Brunelleschi's dome. Then walk through Piazza della Signoria and the Church of Santa Croce. Grab lunch at a typical Tuscan restaurant. The afternoon is free, though you can opt for an extra panoramic tour out to Pisa to see the Square of Miracles and the Leaning Tower if you'd like. Head back to your hotel in the evening.

  4. Day 4

    Venice

    After breakfast, travel to Bologna, a city known for its university heritage, red architecture, and food scene. Start at Piazza Malpighi to see the famous arcades and porticoes, then move through Piazza del Nettuno, Piazza Maggiore, and check out the Neptune Fountain, Basilica di San Petronio, and historic palaces. From there, head to Padua to visit the Basilica of Saint Anthony, then continue on to Venice for the evening.

    Venice

    After breakfast, board a private boat to Piazza San Marco and begin exploring Venice. See St. Mark's Square, the Doge's Palace with its Byzantine and Gothic architecture, and learn about the historic Venetian Republic. Look at ornate furnishings, Venetian art, and paintings by Titian, Tintoretto, and Bellini. Walk across the Bridge of Sighs and hear the legend about prisoners crossing to their cells. Later, enjoy a spritz or prosecco. The afternoon is yours to wander Venice freely before returning to your hotel.

Walk through the medieval and Renaissance architecture including Plaza Grande with its Duomo, the marble-faced Tarugi Palace, and the Church of Santa María dei Servi. Have lunch at a traditional restaurant and spend some free time wandering around. Then head back to your hotel in Rome.

    Vatican

    After breakfast, you'll depart between 07:45 and 08:00 AM for the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. Skip the ticket lines and walk through the Gallery of Geographical Maps, Gallery of Tapestries, and Raphael rooms. See Michelangelo's Creation of Adam and Last Judgment frescoes in the Sistine Chapel. Tour St. Peter's Basilica, a monumental church built over 160 years by Michelangelo, Bernini, and other artists. The tour ends at Plaza San Pedro. Spend the afternoon exploring Rome on your own.
