Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Amman

    Your guide meets you at the airport in Amman and gives you a briefing about what's ahead for the trip and the city itself. A private air-conditioned vehicle takes you to your hotel, where you can settle in and spend the rest of the day relaxing after your travels.

  2. Day 2

    Amman and Jerash

    After breakfast, you'll get a panoramic look at both modern and ancient Amman, taking in the Citadel and Roman Theater. Stop by the Traditional Markets to browse around, then head out to Jerash where you can walk through one of the best-preserved Roman cities outside Italy, with grand columns, temples, theaters and squares spread throughout. You'll return to Amman for dinner and overnight.

    Dead Sea

    Following breakfast, travel to the Dead Sea and Moab desert, which is the world's first natural spa thanks to its high salt concentration. You have free time to float in the healing waters and see what makes this place so unique. The drive back to Amman happens in time for dinner and overnight.

  4. Day 4

    Madaba, Mount Nebo, Way of the Kings to Petra

    After breakfast, head to Madaba and visit the Orthodox Church of Saint George, which has a remarkable 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land on its floor. From there, continue to Mount Nebo where you can take in panoramic views of the Jordan Valley. The route then follows the Way of the Kings, passing the Crusader fortresses of Karak and Shobak, and you'll arrive in Petra for dinner and overnight.

    Petra

    You have the full day after breakfast to explore Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the seven wonders of the modern world. Enter through the narrow gorge and make your way to the famous Treasury, Theater, Royal Tombs, Altar of the Sacrifice, and Street of the Columns. In the afternoon, you can check out the Monastery on your own without a guide. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

    Wadi Rum to Amman

    Following breakfast, transfer back to Amman and explore the city center at your own pace if time allows. You can check out the Blue Mosque (which welcomes non-Muslim visitors), see the ancient Roman fountains of the Nymphaeum, or visit the Al-Hussein Mosque. Habibah, Amman's well-known pastry shop, is also worth a stop. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
