- NHNathan· September 7th, 2025I have been on many different tours across the world with mixed success with tour leaders on TourRadar. Of this experience, I have found G Adventures (on the 4 tours I have experienced) to be of the highest standard both in terms of professionalism and knowledge. Khader (CEO) somehow managed to exceed the standard I expect from G Adventures. This CEO was not only professional and knowledgeable but also displayed innovative ways to constantly optimize the experience (this included many different ways of taking photos and videos through Petra and Wadi Rum). His depth of knowledge maximized every stop we had. What truly set him apart from other CEOs was two things. He said that "the traveler always comes first" and reacted in a way I had not seen before. One of the other travelers was overcharged for a diving experience (on a part of the tour he was not scheduled to be on and it was her [the traveler] own fault), and instead of saying "it's done now," he went back and demanded that the situation be rectified, which took a couple of heated phone calls. He did not stop until the traveler was 100% happy; in short, he went over and above. The second thing was he purposely suppressed his feelings about neighboring countries, even though he said his family is based in Palestine. He intentionally did this not to colour our perception. I can only imagine how hard this is to do. In short, Khader is not only a great advert for G Adventures but also a fantastic ambassador for Jordan.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewNathan, thank you so much for such a wonderful review of Khader! He truly is one of our best CEOs and we are so glad he helped to make your trip to Jordan so special. We hope to welcome you on another adventure in the near future!Trip date: August 2025
- JHJenny· August 3rd, 2025great trip, organisation was good, khadar was wonderful, very informative but fun. He gave us good insight into the ancient and modern world of Jordan, with plenty of free time to explore. Highly recommend.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for your review, Jenny! Khadar is one of the best and we are so glad to know that you enjoyed your time in Jordan. - MTMark· October 18th, 2024The itinerary was great, and included a good variety of activities - although a few more optional cultural ones would have been appreciated. The tour leader was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable, willing to discuss any subject (including the local delicate situation). He managed the time well, and kep us well informed. I do have an issue with G-Adventures tipping approach though (I've been on 2 trips with them this year). It doesn't feel like tipping. The amount is very high and on this trip we were asked to pay more than pre-advised because we were low in number (4). This clearly means the tips are used as a form of income. There is no transparency about it either. It will put me off using them again.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for your feedback, Mark. We have passed your comments to the appropriate teams for their review.Trip date: October 2024
- Rajbala· September 14th, 2024It was a good experience with the tour guide very knowledgeable.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewHi Rajbala Thanks very much for your review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us.Trip date: September 2024
- LMLesley· June 8th, 2024The itinerary was very good, the only thing I would suggest is that people are told to bring beach shoes when they go to the Dead Sea, because the sharp stones and the heat are not good on bare feet! The guide, Ayman Khattab, was the best we have been with in nearly 50 years of travel. He was incredibly knowledgable, great attention to detail, knew all the best places to eat and the times to visit the places we were going to. He was also a very kind, decent person.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for your review, Lesley! We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us and Ayman. This is also a great tip - thank you! The world deserves more you!Trip date: May 2024

- JTJames· March 22nd, 2024Our CEO Mohammed was great. The entire tour was amazing and we left feeling like part of a family. This was our first small group multi-day guided tour and we really liked the itinerary - it felt like the right amount of activities and down time. We didn’t have to do any planning apart from the flights and getting to and from the airport before and after the tour. Mohammed was really knowledgeable and good at getting us to places at the right times to avoid other large groups. Having the small group meant there are not too many people so youre not waiting around at sites for too long, you can hear what's being said, dip in and out if you want to, and there’s enough people to break off and do things with others if you want, particularly during evenings, down times and after the official tour finishes. At the groups request, the CEO did a great job of finding us great places to eat, even during Ramadan with reasonable prices and made sure we could try the local cuisines for different parts of the country. Fantastic tour and we’d definitely recommend and use G and Tour Radar again.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewHi James, Thanks for the five star review. This is amazing feedback and we're so glad you had such an excellent adventure. Hopefully we'll see you back on tour aagain soon.Trip date: March 2024

Asked on March 11th, 2025wanted to book Jordan tour 8 days - is there possibility for triple sharing room
- G AdventuresOperator•Written March 2025
We only request triple rooms for travellers with a child aged 12-17 in the group. If it is 3 adults ages 18+, a triple is not possible. You would be required to have one twin room and the third traveller would have either a private room or have to room share with another solo traveller of the same gender.

Asked on October 6th, 2024I'm going to book a tour of 8 days for the 13th of October till 20th in Jordan. Right now this area is a little bit conflictive. So I just want to know what will happen if the company cancel the tour. Will I get a full refund?? A full refund wouldnt be an option?

At this time our Jordan tours are going ahead as planned. If we were forced to cancel the trip you would be offered a travel credit. A refund can also be requested if preferred but only if we cancel the trip.

Traveler•Written October 2024For healt insurance do you have a mandatory one or can I just buy one that I kwon it's good? I'm planning to buch the 'IATI' health insurance. Regarding the VISA I'm from Spain, do I have to purchase the Jordane Visa in advance or can I just do it in the Amman airport? Also, with just the visa is fine, o do I have to buy the Jordan Pass? The start of the tour is the day 13th of October, but when and what time is going to be? Last question, how much money (EUROS €) do you recommend me to bring?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written October 2024
For the visa, you can get this on arrival. The Jordan visa can be obtained on arrival at land and airport borders for most nationalities for a fee of 40 JOD. You will not need to also purchase the Jordan pass. Day 1 is just an arrival day and no activities have been planned on this day. Upon arrival to your Joining Hotel, look for a note or bulletin board in the reception with a note from your CEO. This note will give the details of your Welcome Meeting on day 1 (usually between 5pm and 7pm), where you will get a chance to meet your CEO and other travellers, as well as learn more about how the tour will run.

We advise approximately 250 EUR for meals not included, plus extra for drinks, tips and any optional activities. You can choose any travel insurance but the medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation benefits must, when combined together, cover for at least 200,000.00 USD per traveller.
