Itinerary

Hanoi
Your hotel pickup happens early, getting you out to Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island while the morning's still quiet. From there you'll head into the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you can walk through his mausoleum and residences, then check out the One Pillar Pagoda. The Vietnam Ethnology Museum comes next, and you'll spend time learning about the country's 54 ethnic groups. By lunchtime you'll sit down for traditional Vietnamese food with eight different dishes. After that, the Temple of Literature is on your list, followed by a visit to Hoa Lo Prison Museum before heading back to your hotel by evening.
