- Marcos· November 13th, 2024The places are amazing and all the scheduling and coordination happened promptly and w/o problems. I was comfortable w/ the quality of the hotels for the price. The reason I'm not going for 5 stars is that I was merged w/ a different group for every activity, so you don't stay w/ the same group all the time, I guess this has its pros and cons but I like to stay w/ the same group and get to know people better. Also, the tip solicitation was somewhat out of control, the guides won't ask you explicitly for a tip but they would do everything short of that. This is truly uncomfortable as I already paid for the service and my decision to leave a tip is very personal and only if they go above and beyond. I'm truly annoyed by people just doing their jobs and always implying that they are going the extra mile, I'm sick of this in the USA and truly dislike seeing it elsewhere.Show moreTrip date: August 2024

- TreXperienceOperator•Written March 2024

Traveler•Written March 2024Are there any tours available starting either May 5th or at sometime during that week?

Traveler•Written March 2024I would prefer to go on the Inca Trail and Rainbow Mountains option. When is the next available tour date that you have open on either May 5th or afterwards?
- TreXperienceOperator•Written March 2024
Unfortunately all the entrances to Inca trail to May are exhausted. Instead of this I can offer you Salkantay trek 05 days starting on May 08th - May 12th, the next day you can consider for your relax and recharge the energies, and then go to the rainbow mountain on May 15th.

Traveler•Written March 2024The main things I would like to see in Peru is Machu Pichu and the Rainbow Mountains. I would like to be able to spend a little time hiking on the Inca Trail but if there are no trail options available, I would be fine just seeing Machu Pichu without the trail and seeing scenic views and landscapes instead. I would need something that is 7 days max, preferably 6 that starts sometime between May 5th and 11th. Are there any tours you have available that might meet this criteria?
- TreXperienceOperator•Written March 2024
We have space for the Inca trail to Machu Picchu 2 days tour. This version of the Inca Trail offers a one- or two-day trek, covering a distance of about 12 kilometers and culminating at the Sun Gate, where travelers get their first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu.
