Itinerary
- Day 1
Perth to Kalbarri
Start the day with a walk along Greenhead Three Bays Walks to ease into your coastal adventure, then grab lunch at Dynamite Bay. From there, you'll drive up Indian Ocean Drive where you get nice coastal views throughout the route. Stop at Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake near Geraldton to see that striking pink water and take some photos. After that, head to Kalbarri and check out the Natural Bridge, then take a leisurely walk at Castle Cove. You'll settle into your seaside accommodation for the night, so you can relax after a full day of driving and exploring.

Kalbarri to Monkey Mia
Get started early to make the most of Kalbarri National Park. You'll visit Murchison Gorge first, then head to Nature's Window where you can see the landscape framed perfectly through the rock formation. The Kalbarri Skywalk comes next, showing you how water has carved through the sandstone over time. Stop at the iconic Billabong Roadhouse for lunch, then it's on to Shell Beach for a stroll along a beach that's actually made entirely of tiny shells. End your day at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort right on the beach in the World Heritage Listed Shark Bay area, where resident dolphins live nearby and you can hear them from your accommodation.

Monkey Mia to Geraldton
Meet the famous dolphins of Monkey Mia early in the morning to capture photos before the experience wraps up at 9am. You'll have free time on the beach afterward, or you can opt for a wildlife cruise if you want to pay extra for that. At 11am, head to Eagle Bluff to spot sharks and turtles in their natural habitat. After that, explore Denham foreshore and grab lunch there. You'll depart at 1:30pm heading back to Geraldton with stops at Overlander Road House and Galena Bridge along the way, arriving in the evening for your final night by the seaside.

Geraldton to Perth
Begin with a visit to the HMAS Sydney Memorial, which has nice views over Geraldton, then tour the Point Moore Lighthouse. Head to Port Denison next for a foreshore walk and some lookout views of the area. Continue traveling along Indian Ocean road with a stop in Jurien Bay where you'll take a jetty walk. Arrive at Cervantes for lunch at the famous WA Lobster Shack and take a guided tour through their lobster factory to see how they operate. Before heading back to Perth, you'll explore the strange and eerie Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park, seeing those unique limestone formations. Drop-off back in Perth starts around 6:30pm.
