Itinerary
- Day 1
Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
You'll land at Kilimanjaro Airport where a driver meets you for the transfer to Arusha. This is your arrival day, so you'll check into your lodge and have time to rest up before the safari starts. It's a good opportunity to grab dinner and get oriented to the area since you'll be heading out early the next morning.

Landmarks Kilimanjaro Airport - Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, you're picked up for a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Once you arrive and get settled, there's an optional night game drive available if you want to go out again (weather permitting, and it does cost extra). Most people take it easy this evening after the drive.

Landmarks Tarangire National Park 
- Day 3
Tarangire National Park
This is a full day at Tarangire with morning and afternoon game drives. You'll see large elephant herds and those distinctive baobab trees scattered across the landscape. Between drives, you'll head back to your lodge for lunch and a break before heading out again in the afternoon.

Landmarks Tarangire National Park - Day 4
Tarangire to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, your guide takes you to Esilalei Village to visit a Maasai Boma where you can interact with the local community and learn about their culture. Later that afternoon, you're driven to your new lodge which sits just 5 minutes from the Ngorongoro Crater main gate, so you'll be perfectly positioned for tomorrow's early start.

Landmarks Esilalei Village Lake Manyara Ngorongoro Crater - Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater
You'll head out early for a morning game drive into Ngorongoro Crater, an ancient caldera that's nearly three million years old. The crater walls, forests, and grasslands create a natural enclosure where wildlife thrives, and you'll spot animals throughout the day. After the drive, you return to your lodge for the afternoon to relax and recover.

- Day 6
Ngorongoro to Northern Serengeti
After breakfast you check out and drive to Manyara Airstrip for your flight to Kogatende in the northern Serengeti. Once you land, your camp guide picks you up and you do a game drive on the way to Aurari Camp. After lunch at camp, you head out again for an afternoon game drive to see what's around.

- Days 7 - 8
Northern Serengeti
You'll spend a couple of days exploring the Northern Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. During this season, large herds move through the area, and the young animals are more vulnerable to predators, which makes for excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. There's an optional early morning hot air balloon ride over the Mara River if you want something extra special (additional cost).

Northern Serengeti to Kilimanjaro Airport
After breakfast at Aurari Camp, you do one final game drive on the way to Kogatende Airstrip for your morning flight back to Arusha. You'll have lunch in town (you'll pay for this yourself), then get transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home or onward journey.
