Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
You'll be met at Kilimanjaro Airport and driven to Arusha, settling into your accommodation for the night. This gives you a chance to rest up before the safari begins.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After pickup from your hotel, you'll head into Tarangire National Park for game drives. The landscape here is pretty distinctive with those massive baobab trees scattered around and large elephant herds moving through the terrain.

Lake Manyara National Park to Karatu
You'll do a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park in the morning, then transfer to your lodge in Karatu. The afternoon is yours to relax and take things easy after the drive.

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
An early start gets you to Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing in this ancient volcanic caldera with its steep walls, forests, and grasslands. After lunch you'll travel to Serengeti, and you should reach Cherero Camp by early evening with game viewing along the way.

If you're interested, there's an optional hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti plains at sunrise. Afterward you'll do morning and afternoon game drives in the Central and Western sections, looking for the big five and other wildlife.

Serengeti to Kilimanjaro Airport
After breakfast you'll do some final game viewing on the way to Seronera Airstrip for your departure flight back to Arusha. You'll have time for lunch at your own expense before the 90-minute drive to Kilimanjaro Airport. If you're interested, extensions to Zanzibar can be set up.
