- Day 1
Casablanca to Marrakech
You'll get picked up at your accommodation or the airport early in the morning. After grabbing some breakfast or a light snack, you'll head to the Hassan II Mosque, which is one of the largest mosques around. Lunch happens along the Corniche with views of the Atlantic, or if you prefer, you can eat at Rick's Café which takes inspiration from the classic film. After that, you'll transfer to Marrakech, pulling in late afternoon or evening.

- Day 2
Marrakech
Meet up at your accommodation after breakfast for a full day walking through Marrakech's historic and cultural highlights. You'll see the Koutoubia Mosque, then move through the Bahia Palace and Ben Youssef Madrasa. From there, you'll check out El Badi Palace's ruins and the Saadian Tombs. Lunch gets served in the Medina or at Jemaa el Fnaa Square where you can try traditional Moroccan food. Later in the afternoon, you'll wander through the souks with their colorful goods and busy atmosphere.

Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast at your accommodation, you'll head into the High Atlas Mountains and cross through the Tichka Pass. Along the way, you'll pass remote mountain villages with red-earth buildings showing rural Moroccan life. There's a stop at a local Argan Oil Co-operative if you want to learn about that product, then you'll visit the Kasbah Telouet. Next comes the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and its community, known for film locations. Lunch is near one of these kasbahs, and camel rides are available if you're interested. You'll arrive by mid to late afternoon.

- Day 4
Ait Ben Haddou to M'hamid
Starting after breakfast, you'll travel through palm groves and old trade routes that connected Morocco to the Silk Road. Begin with a walk through Agdz Palmerie and the historic Kasbah Tamnougalt. You'll have refreshing drinks in a small palm grove, then visit the Draa Valley Museum inside a Kasbah. Lunch happens in Zagora, followed by exploring the Zagora Palmerie and meeting local silversmiths. The Tamegroute pottery workshop comes next, where you can see traditional pottery making and outdoor kilns. After touring the still-inhabited Tamegroute Kasbah, you'll head to the Saharan village of M'hamid late afternoon or evening.

- Day 5
M'hamid to Chigaga Desert Camp
You'll meet your camels and camel guide after breakfast at your accommodation. Then you'll go on a 4-hour camel trek into the Sahara with lunch served out in the desert. After that, you'll switch to a 4x4 for a 60 km drive toward Chigaga Camp, stopping for photos and taking in the desert views. You'll arrive by mid or late afternoon. In the evening, you can optionally climb the dunes to watch the sunset, then gather around the campfire for live drumming, dinner, and local hospitality under the stars.

Chigaga Desert Camp to Foum Zguid
You have the option to climb the dunes early and watch the sunrise over the Sahara. For more activities, sandboarding down the dunes is available, or just take a relaxing walk around the area. You'll have time to rest at camp before lunch. After eating, you'll go on a 90 km desert drive to exit via a different route, which follows part of the old Dakar rally path. Photo and refreshment stops happen along the way. You'll reach Foum Zguid late afternoon or evening.

Foum Zguid to Marrakech
After breakfast, you'll head back toward Marrakech from the Sahara. You'll drive to Tazenakht, a Berber carpet-making town, with lunch served in the High Atlas Mountains in a peaceful setting. There are photo and refreshment stops during the drive. You'll arrive in Marrakech late afternoon.

Departure from Marrakech
Your schedule today depends on your flight time. You need to allow 3 hours to get to Casablanca Airport or 45 minutes for Menara Airport in Marrakech, plus at least 2 hours and 30 minutes before departure. A transfer will take you to the airport for your flight.
