Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tromsø
You'll arrive in Tromsø and get settled into your Arctic accommodation. The city has this constant glow during the polar night that's really something to see. From there, you can explore on your own schedule. There's an optional cable car ride up Storsteinen mountain if you want it - you'll get panoramic views from up there and it's also a solid spot for catching Northern Lights if conditions are right.

Tromsø to Narvik
The drive takes you through snow-covered mountain peaks and fjords as you head toward Lofoten Islands and Narvik. Along the way, you'll stop to look for wildlife - humpback whales and orcas do show up here sometimes. Once you reach Narvik, a harbor town just north of the Arctic Circle, you can walk around and take in the scenic surroundings. There's another optional cable car available if you want views from the local mountain.

Landmarks/POIs Ofotfjord - Day 3
Narvik
Head back up to the upper cable car station and hike into the mountain landscape from there. You'll see panoramic views of Narvik, the fjord, and mountains all around. After that, spend time walking through the city's cafés and alleyways, trying local pastries like Kanelbolle. If history interests you, there's an optional visit to Krigsminnemuseet museum to learn about Narvik's past.

Narvik to Kiruna
You'll cross from Norway into Sweden on your way to Kiruna. This is where you get to try husky sledding - your guide and sled dog team will take you through the winter landscape. Later, you'll settle into your log cabin at the wilderness camp. By evening, you can relax by the wood-burning stove and enjoy an evening sauna.

Kiruna to Kilpisjärvi
After breakfast in Kiruna, you'll drive to Kilpisjarvi, Finland, near the Three Country Cairn. Get settled into your accommodation, then head out into the snowy landscape. You can hike Fjell Saana mountain for views above the tree line, or take a shorter route to Tsahkal Falls if you prefer. There's optional hot cocoa at the visitor center afterward to warm up and learn about the region.

Kilpisjärvi
This day focuses on the polar twilight - you'll see those colors shift from orange to violet across the horizon. When it's clear at night, you can watch for Northern Lights. There are several optional activities: visit fishing villages, go snowshoe hiking through the landscape, or head out to a reindeer farm. You could book a professional guide for a full snow adventure, or just have fun with snowball fights and building snowmen.

- Day 7
Three Country Cairn Trek
You'll trek about 11 kilometers through snow to reach the Three Country Cairn, where Norway, Sweden, and Finland meet. Along the way, you'll pass waterfalls and brooks and might spot some friendly reindeer. If trekking isn't your preference, there are alternatives - try a snowmobile through untouched landscape for something more intense, or go skiing down the white slopes.

Kilpisjärvi to Tromsø (Departure)
On your final day, you'll drive back to Tromsø through Scandinavian nature. This last journey gives you one more chance to take in the landscape before you leave this Arctic region.
