- Fook· October 3rd, 2025*🌟 Unforgettable 10-Day Galápagos Adventure — Seamless, Warm & Wonderfully Personal 🌟* We had an incredible 10-day island-hopping experience in the Galápagos, exploring both Santa Cruz and Isabela Islands. From start to finish, we were personally looked after with genuine care and attention. The TourRadar team was fantastic — always right at our front door to ensure we arrived and departed for each destination on time. Their warmth, love, and constant care made the entire journey feel smooth and stress-free. In Santa Cruz, our stay at Coloma Hotel was made special by Fernanda and Alexander, whose hospitality was heartfelt and sincere. A highlight was the freshly brewed afternoon coffee they prepared just for us — a thoughtful and personal touch. In Isabela Island, we were warmly welcomed at Loja Hotel. Diego Montalvo and his team took excellent care of us — the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the peaceful atmosphere was perfect for relaxing. A lovely poolside gala dinner was arranged for our last evening (Sept 14), which we truly appreciated, although the food didn’t quite meet expectations (some of the meats were overcooked). That aside, everything else was handled with such attention and warmth. We’re truly grateful for the seamless planning, kind hospitality, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommended for anyone planning a Galápagos adventure! With love from The Warm & Joyful Malaysian Group — Heng, Chiu & YapShow more
- Shalini· September 27th, 2025I hadn't planned on going to the Ecuadorian Amazon, it was just by chance I saw it, as I was booking my accomadation in Ecuador. It was a true privilege to be welcomed at the Napo Cultural Centre and live amongst the Kichwa community, that uphold their traditions to this day. They all welcomed me with smiles and open arms, although many don't speak English or Spanish I could get by and learnt some of their Kichwa along the way! They are all very humble and and take great pride in their jungle and preserving what they can, hence putting bans on hunting animals and fighting to keep their land. There were only 2 of us that stayed at the lodge which was fine as we had a guide each. My guide was absolutely amazing, his ability to spot wildlife is unbelievable. I think we saw 8 different types of monkey species, parakeets, different types of birds....the only thing outstanding that I wanted to see was the sloth and anaconda. On my last day after coming back to the lodge at midday he text me to say come to main area, he had found the sloth. I couldn't of been happier. My guide was very much, what did I want to see and get out of this trip. The rooms are comfortable and water is replaced everyday, the rooms are made up everyday. There's a ceiling fan and a fridge with various drinks. The meals served are amazing and you never go hungry. They also have a bar where you can get other drinks. As this is within the community you do get to mix with the other families that live there, mainly the children as they come for school in the morning and leave in the afternoon. The owners and those that work there are all very nice and accomodating, I had the best time there. I think the best part for me was the canoe ride down the Napo river, gave me a chance to really see lots of different types of animals and true Amozonien life. It was tough for my guide and the other gentleman who were canoeing for about an hour. But it was fantastic. Highly recommended this trip, you do have the option of 3 different types of accommodation. I liked this one as it was part of a community and you could see how everyone goes about daily life. And you can tell its a very tight community.Show more
- Michael· August 23rd, 2025The 7 day Galapagos Islands tour is a good way to see 3 of the many islands. There are many early mornings activities so it was reassuring to have some free time before dinner. On the 3 mornings that require very early transfers, we only got breakfast once. The transfers require a short taxi ute ride followed by a short boat ride ($1 cost) before reaching the ferry (do not sit at the front as you will feel every bump and may not get fresh air (think fumes)). We selected Standard accommodation and we were disappointed with the lack of expected facilities (no chair to sit on, no towel rack, room facing the main street) but at least they had running water (once it was fixed at 1 hotel), a bed and air conditioning (1 sounded like a jet engine). The tours were great and catered for all participants (languages and speed of walking). If you do the hike to Sierra Negra, ensure you have good boots, sun cream, plenty of water and snacks and maybe walking poles to cope with the rough terrain after reaching the craters rim. If you go snorkelling ensure you hire wetsuits and we thought they were provided - they were only once provided out of the 3 occasions. Josselyn was very helpful notifying us of changes to times and fixing some of the accommodation problems.Show more

Traveler•Written August 2025I am interested in Ecuador but I'm worried about what vaccinations are needed to be safe on the tour as well as if there are any safety precautions that I need to know when visiting. Does the tour offer airport transport to hotels? Is it safe for solo travelers? I'm also interested in just beautiful hikes near Waterfalls and volcanoes. And would October or November be less rainy?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written August 2025
The only vaccination required to enter Ecuador is yellow fever, and this is only necessary if you are coming from certain countries. Upon your arrival in Quito, private transportation will be available at all times to take you to and from the airport. Traveling solo is such an empowering experience. All the wonderful hikes included in this itinerary, through volcanoes and waterfalls, are guided by a local English-speaking guide and shared with at least 16 participants. From July to December, Ecuador experiences beautiful summer weather, allowing you to fully enjoy all your excursions.

Traveler•Written August 2025I'm just waiting for approval for time off from work. I want to check if the majority of the activities are included in the tour price. What activities are not included but are recommended? Also, will there be opportunities to see capybaras and seals? And we don't need any special vaccinations for visiting the Amazon if I'm coming from United States?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written August 2025
Most of your activities are included, except for the Quitsato Entrance Fee ($5 USD) on Day 2. The train ride on the Devil's Nose on Day 3 ($30 USD) is optional, but highly recommended. On Day 5 in Baños, you'll have the choice between two activities: the Waterfall Route or an Amazon visit. During the Amazon excursion, you may see capybaras, but I cannot guarantee it. Seals can only be seen in the Galapagos Islands. If you're traveling from the United States, no vaccinations are required to visit any part of Ecuador, including the Amazon.

Traveler•Written September 2025Do you know if on Day 6 I can book the Amazon excursion because Day 5 I'd like to do the Banos Waterfall route. Also, what flight time should I book for Day 1 and Day 13? I'm looking at Oct 5 to Oct 17th.
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written September 2025
Of course, I can add the Amazon experience on Day 6 for an additional $40 USD, or if you prefer, you can also book it directly once you are in Baños. On Day 5, you will enjoy the Waterfall Route. You will need to arrive in Quito on October 5 to begin your journey and depart from Guayaquil on October 17. No worries, your private transportation will be available for you at any time, according to your flight schedule.
