- Day 1
Germany to Windhoek
You'll say goodbye to Germany this evening and head to the airport for your flight to Windhoek. It's a long journey ahead, so get settled in for the overnight flight to Namibia.
- Day 2
Windhoek
After landing in Windhoek, you'll meet your tour guide at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Take some time to freshen up, then the rest of the day is yours to explore Africa's smallest capital. Check out Christ Church, stroll down Independence Avenue, or grab a coffee at one of the local spots. You'll meet your travel group in the evening.

Sesriem Canyon
Today you head into the Namib Desert, one of Namibia's most famous natural wonders. You'll climb Dune 45 and then walk through Deadvlei where red sand and gnarled camel thorn trees create a stark landscape. From there, continue to Sesriem Canyon, carved by the Tsauchab River. If you're interested, there's an option to sleep under the stars on the lodge roof terrace.

- Day 5
Swakopmund
You'll travel across extensive dune fields from Lüderitz toward Walvis Bay. Along the way, stop to watch flamingos in the lagoon before continuing on to Swakopmund, a charming colonial seaside town. Spend some time walking the beach promenade or explore the German heritage through buildings like the Woermann and Hohenzollern houses.

Swakopmund
This day is yours to shape in Swakopmund. Try Black Forest cake at the historic Café Anton or have fresh seafood on the promenade. You can book an optional excursion to spot the Little Five in the desert, or relax with a catamaran trip instead. Your tour guide will help you pick what works best.

Swakopmund to Etosha National Park
You'll head north past Spitzkoppe and through the Erongo Mountains into changing landscapes filled with mopane trees. After arriving at your lodge near Etosha National Park, the long drive behind you, take a walk around the lodge grounds and settle in with a gin and tonic to watch the African sunset.

- Days 8 - 9
Etosha National Park
Spend two full days on safari through Etosha National Park searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and antelope. With some luck, you might spot rare black rhinos and large predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You're staying directly in the park, so by evening you can watch animals gathering at the floodlit waterholes from your lodge.

Etosha to Rundu
Today you visit the Mbunza, a living museum where fishermen on the Kavango River share their everyday life and traditions. You can participate in traditional activities like stomping mahango (pearl millet), fishing, pottery, and drum making. After lunch in the shade of trees, you'll travel to your lodge in Rundu on the Kavango River.

Rundu to Popa Falls
Start early with an optional boat trip on the Kavango River to observe hippos in the shallow waters. Then follow the river to the Caprivi Strip in northeastern Namibia. You'll see the Popa Falls where rapids churn the water, and end your day capturing the light on the water as evening approaches.

Mahango Game Reserve
Wake to hippo sounds and bird calls from your riverside lodge. Head out to Mahango Game Reserve, part of Bwabwata National Park and still an undiscovered safari area. You'll encounter herds of elephants, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and baobabs across expansive floodplain landscapes. Return to your lodge in the afternoon for a swim in the cool water.

Namibia to Maun, Botswana
You cross into Botswana and drive along the panhandle, the upper region of the Okavango Delta, heading toward Maun, the safari capital of Botswana. Settle in at your beautiful lodge on the Thamalakane River. If you'd like, you can take an optional scenic flight over the water world to preview your dugout canoe route for tomorrow.

- Day 14
Okavango Delta Mokoro & Moremi
Board your mokoro (dugout canoe) and glide silently through the Okavango Delta's water channels. You'll pass reed frogs, lechwe antelopes on sandy islands, and leaf fowl while your poler from the Bayei people navigates around hippos and elephants. Settle into your house tent in a private concession near Moremi Game Reserve. After dinner, join a night game drive and listen for hyenas and lions roaring in the distance.

Focus on spotting rare wild dogs, sitatunga antelopes, and waterbuck alongside the Big Five. Return to camp for lunch, then gather around the campfire later for an atmospheric evening.

You'll travel across the Makgadikgadi salt pans where mirages shimmer on scorching, reflective plains. In the afternoon, visit the Nata bird sanctuary with fantastic views of Sowa Pan and abundant birdlife. Cool off at your lodge's fresh swimming pool after the heat of the day.

Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park Safari
Start early with a game drive through Chobe National Park, home to around 60,000 elephants and abundant zebras, buffalo, giraffes, wildebeest, antelopes, and predators. In the afternoon, go on an extensive boat safari on the Chobe River, spotting crocodiles, hippos, and diverse birds like saddle-billed storks, spoonbills, bee-eaters, and lesser spotted eagles. End the day with a sunset on the water.

You cross into Zimbabwe and head to Hwange National Park, an insider destination with diverse landscapes. Rolling hills, wide grassy plains, and forests of camelthorn and teak trees surround you. Sleep in unique houses on stilts and share stories around the campfire with your group.

Hwange to Victoria Falls
Journey to Victoria Falls, a natural masterpiece with over 10,000 cubic meters of water per second cascading 110 meters into a crevice. Visit the falls with your tour guide, then take a boat trip on the mighty Zambezi River. Relax on the terrace of the Ilala Lodge and hear the roar of the falls right nearby.
