Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and meet your representative after customs. From there, you get transferred to your hotel where you'll receive a welcome drink. The afternoon and evening are free for you to rest, walk around the nearby area, or check out some local shops.

Kathmandu to Ramechapp
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll drive about 6 to 7 hours to Ramechapp, which sits roughly 145 km from Kathmandu. Once you arrive, you'll stay at a lodge or guesthouse for the night to prepare for starting your trek.

Ramechapp to Lukla to Phakding
A flight gets you to Lukla, landing on that famous steep mountain runway where the trek actually begins. You'll connect with your crew and head into the DudhKoshi Valley on the marked trail, finishing the day in Phakding.

Phakding to Namche
Multiple crossings of suspension bridges over the river take you through Monjo and into Sagarmatha National Park. The trail climbs steeply to Namche, the main trading hub of the Khumbu. When weather cooperates, you'll catch your first view of Mt Everest from here. Saturday mornings bring a busy market where traders from lower elevations meet Tibetan yak herds.

Namche
You're staying another night in Namche for acclimatization purposes. After breakfast, you'll walk to Khumjung for lunch with your walk leaders accompanying the group. This allows your body time to adjust to the altitude before moving higher.

Namche to Deboche
Walking along the glacial waters of the DudhKoshi River puts you among views of Mt Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku, and AmaDablam. Colorful rhododendron forests line the path to Sanasa where trails split toward Gokyo or Everest Base Camp. You'll climb to Tengboche monastery, the largest Gompa in the region, then trek through birch and rhododendron forest to reach Deboche.

Deboche to Dingboche
A half-day walk takes you to Dingboche, about 4 hours total with lunch included. After passing through an open valley for roughly an hour from Panboche, you reach the village. The afternoon leaves time to rest or explore, and clear evenings provide good sunset views of Lhotse.

Dingboche
This day focuses on active rest and letting your body adjust. You'll trek up Nagartsang Peak at 5,083 m (16,625 ft) for acclimatization benefit. The climb is tough but pays off with views from the summit. After descending back to Dingboche, you have a free afternoon to rest and recover.

Dingboche to Lobuche
Heading up the broad valley between Cholatse and Tawache, you'll turn right and climb steeply toward the Khumbu Glacier. Lunch happens at Duglha's tea cafe. The path zigzags across the glacier's terminal moraine past stone cairns honoring fallen Sherpas. By evening you'll reach Lobuche.

Lobuche to Everest Base Camp to GorakShep
Mountain views continue as you cross a tributary glacier and climb toward lunch at GorakShep. Later, you'll head to Everest Base Camp, winding through ice pinnacles and past crevasses. On the return, a higher path option gives you views of the Khumbu icefall and the route to South Col.

Landmarks/POIs Khumbu Glacier GorakShep Everest Base Camp - Day 11
GorakShep to Kala Pattar to Namche
Starting very early, you'll reach Kala Pattar at 5,554 m, the best viewpoint in the Everest region. From the summit, surrounding mountain views are exceptional. Most of the day's hike goes downward past the Himalayan Rescue Association at Duglha, then through birch and rhododendron forest back to Tengboche and down to Namche.

Namche to Lukla
Following the DudhKosi, your final trek day leads to Lukla. This evening calls for celebration with your Sherpa guides and porters. You'll try Sherpa dance moves and taste chang, the local beer, to mark a proper end to the trek.

Landmarks/POIs DudhKosi River Lukla - Day 13
Lukla to Kathmandu
After getting your boarding pass, you'll check through security for the scenic 30 to 40 minute flight back to Kathmandu. Snow-capped peaks fill the plane windows during the journey. Your representative meets you at the domestic terminal and takes you back to the hotel. Following some refreshment, you'll do a sightseeing tour with the rest of the day free.
