  1. Day 1

    Merano

    You'll arrive at your hotel in Merano and find your travel documents ready. If you've booked rental bikes, they'll be waiting for you as well. Take time to settle in and get familiar with your accommodation before the cycling begins tomorrow.

  2. Day 2

    Merano to Bozen

    Start cycling via Via Lana through orchards and vineyards along the South Tyrolean Wine Route. You'll pass fortified castles, palaces, and ruins as you ride. Head to Eppan at the foot of Sigmundskron Castle, then continue on to Bozen where you can walk through the arcades and check out the Ötzi Museum.

  3. Day 3

    Bozen to Trento

    The Eisack river will guide you out of Bolzano before you reach the Etsch cycle path. Ride through orchards to Salurn, which marks the end of German-speaking South Tyrol. After that, cycle through Teroldego vineyards heading toward the old town of Trento, where you'll spend the evening.

  4. Day 4

    Trento to Riva or Torbole

    Leave Trento behind and pass through Rovereto, a historic Tyrolean border town. In Mori, stop for the local pistachio ice cream that the area is known for. Then cycle over Passo San Giovanni which involves roughly a 150m climb, then descend toward the lake and finish in either Riva or Torbole.

    Everything was so well organised we could just relax and ride the bikes. We hired bikes and they were in great condition and gave us no problems- I would definitely recommend this holiday. The accomodation was excellent too.

    It was well organised - luggage delivery was great, but the ride was too long in the same countryside which became monotonous and the trail took you through a lot of unattractive industrial and urban areas.
