Asked on July 15th, 2024Is there availability on this tour? What vehicle do you use? Is it a swag camping trip or tents?
- Intrepid TravelOperator•Written July 2024
25 September, 2025 departure is available for booking. Typically, may include a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus or van. Your accommodation on this trip is at private semi-permanent tented campsites. However, this isn't the most basic camping experience, as you'll have stretcher beds to sleep on. Please bring your own sleeping bag. Pillows are provided. Alternatively you can hire a sleeping bag at an additional cost. Please note that facilities are shared with other nearby campsites, including toilets and shower blocks, which are a short walk from where we camp.

Asked on November 23rd, 2023Is this tour mobility scooter friendly? I use a Travelscoot, small, portable, 15 kg, folds flat. Can handle most terrain except gravel.
- Intrepid TravelOperator•Written November 2023
Unfortunately the travel scooter is not appropriate for the Kings Canyon rim walk and only half of the Creek walk can be done with the scooter. At Uluru, it's not problem doing the walks at the base of Uluru - Kuniya Walk and maybe Mala walk if times allows but alas Walpa Gorge at Kata Tjuta will not be accessible.
