- Day 1
Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park
After your guided tour wraps up at Victoria Falls, you'll head south toward Hwange National Park. This is Zimbabwe's largest national park, and you're going there for the wildlife. The drive gives you time to settle in and prepare for the game drives ahead. You'll arrive with time to get oriented and have dinner at your accommodation.

Hwange National Park
You've got two full days of game driving through Hwange in open 4x4 vehicles. Early morning and late afternoon drives are when animals are most active, so that's when you'll be out looking for the Big Five. Between drives, you'll rest at camp and have lunch. Expect to see plains game, various bird species, and if you're lucky, lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos.

Hwange National Park to Bulawayo
After breakfast, you'll drive south to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe's second largest city. In the afternoon, a local guide takes you into Matopos National Park to see Black and White Rhinoceros and the UNESCO-recognized granite hills. The rock formations here are quite distinctive. You'll return to Bulawayo by evening for an overnight stay in the city.

Bulawayo to Masvingo
You're traveling to Masvingo today to explore the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site from the Late Iron Age. A guide leads you through the site on foot, explaining the intricate stonework and what you're looking at. This was the historic capital of the Kingdom of Zimbabwe, so there's real history here. Plan to spend several hours walking the site.

Masvingo to Bulawayo
After breakfast, you'll drive to Bulawayo for your airport or hotel drop-off, depending on your arrangement. This concludes the tour. The drive back gives you time to reflect on what you've seen across Zimbabwe.
