- Day 1
Chiang Mai
You'll land at Chiang Mai Airport and meet your local representative who handles your transfer to the hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. Grab some street food from the vendors around town, take a tuk tuk ride through the streets, or just settle in and relax at your hotel if you're tired from travel.

- Day 2
Chiang Saen
The day starts with a drive to Chiang Rai and a stop at Mae Kajan Hot Springs. From there you'll head to the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) for photos and a walk through the intricate grounds. Later you continue on to Chiang Saen on the Mekong River, check out Wat Phra Dhat Jom Kitti, then take a boat ride out to the Golden Triangle where you can see the borders of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meeting at the river.

- Day 3
Chiang Rai
Starting in Mae Sai, Thailand's northernmost town on the Myanmar border, you'll walk through the local market and visit the Fish and Monkey Cave. Then it's a drive up to Doi Mae Salong at 1,800 meters elevation where tea plantations and Chinese temples dot the landscape and you'll have a Yunnan-style lunch. Before heading back down, stop by the Black House (Baan Ram) art museum, then finish the evening at Cheevit Tammada coffee house overlooking the Kok River.

Mae Rim
Today involves a 3-hour long-tail boat ride heading upriver on the scenic Kok River. You'll float past hill tribe villages and thick jungle as the boat navigates the water. After lunch, stop at the large and impressive Wat Thatorn temple complex near the Myanmar border. The afternoon continues with a drive toward Mae Rim, making stops in Fang and Chiang Dao to get a feel for authentic local life and Northern Thailand's natural scenery.

Chiang Mai

Then tour the Dara Pirom Palace Museum, which was once a royal consort's residence and now displays Chiang Mai's culture and history. End the day at a handicraft enclave watching artisans work with lacquerware, Thai silk, and paper umbrellas.
