Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca
You'll arrive in Casablanca and meet your private driver at the airport. The rest of the day is yours to explore however you'd like. Walk through the Old Medina's winding streets, check out the French-built Habbous neighborhood with its art deco architecture, or take a stroll along Boulevard de la Corniche where the ocean views are nice. If you're interested in classic films, Rick's Café offers dinner with that Casablanca movie connection you might enjoy.

- Day 2
Casablanca
Start by visiting the Hassan II Mosque, one of the few mosques in Morocco that welcomes non-Muslims. You'll notice the gilded ceilings and the 690-foot minaret right away. In the afternoon, you'll explore sites connected to Moroccan Jewish heritage, including the Museum of Moroccan Judaism and the beautifully restored Temple Beth-El synagogue. If you have time left, head back to Habbous for shopping or just to relax for a bit.

Rabat - Ouazzane - Chefchaouen
You'll travel to Rabat and see the Hassan Tower monument along with the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. From there, head to the holy city of Ouazzane, then continue on to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city. Spend the afternoon wandering through the blue-painted buildings, relaxing in the main square with a maqlouba coffee, and browsing the markets for handcrafted textiles and local artisanal goods.

- Day 4
Volubilis - Moulay Idriss - Meknes - Fes
Leave Chefchaouen early in the morning. You'll have the option to explore more of the medina or catch the sunrise from the Spanish Mosque before heading out. Visit Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with some of Morocco's best-preserved Roman ruins. Later you'll stop in Moulay Idriss, Morocco's first Islamic capital, then explore Meknes' imperial palaces, gardens, and the famous Bab al-Mansour gate. By evening you'll be settled at your riad in Fes' medina.

Fes
After breakfast, you'll meet your guide to explore Fes' old medina with its narrow alleyways and local character. You'll visit the mellah, the historic Jewish quarter, and the Jewish Cemetery where notable rabbis are buried. Then you'll spend time with local artisans in tanneries and mosaic workshops to see how they create their crafts. Later you can return to your riad to relax or wander the medina on your own in the evening.

- Day 6
Sefrou
Meet your guide in the morning for a day tour of Sefrou, a walled town about 18 miles southeast of Fes in the Middle Atlas Mountains. You'll visit the Craft Center where artisans create woodworks, ceramics, woven rugs, and traditional silk buttons. The town has a rich cultural heritage and significant Jewish history worth learning about. You'll head back to Fes in the evening for dinner.

- Day 7
Ifrane National Park - Azrou
Spend the morning exploring more of Fes' medieval medina. You'll see historic sites like the Bou Inania Madrasa and Royal Palace, and you can shop or grab lunch at a relaxed pace. In the afternoon, head into the Middle Atlas Mountains and pass through Ifrane National Park's cedar forests, where endangered Barbary macaque monkeys live. You'll arrive in Azrou, a Berber town known for rug and jewelry making, for dinner and the night.

- Day 8
Midelt - Errachidia - Erfoud - Merzouga
Start early heading out of the Middle Atlas Mountains into the desert. You'll stop in Midelt, known as the apple city, then cross the Tizi-n-Talremt Pass into the Ziz Valley with its hidden oases and palm trees. Grab lunch in Errachidia and visit the Musée des Sources de Lalla Mimouna natural mineral spring. Continue to Erfoud, a market town known for dates and fossils. You'll take a camel ride through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, then return to camp for dinner and traditional Berber music.

Rissani - Tinghir - Boumalne Dadès - Ouarzazate
You'll wake early to see the sunrise over the sand dunes and have breakfast in camp. Then you'll travel back across the desert to Merzouga to meet your driver for the long journey to Ouarzazate. Stop in Rissani to explore its traditional market, then drive through remote desert plains with mountain and plateau views. You'll visit Tinghir, a Berber town with Jewish heritage, and explore its old quarter. Later stop at scenic Dades Gorge with its dramatic red and mauve-striped mountains, have lunch in Boumalne Dadès, and arrive in Ouarzazate by evening.

Aït Benhaddou - Marrakech
Start with a guided tour of Ait Benhaddou, Morocco's most well-known kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site believed to date from the 11th century. You'll head back out of the Sahara and wind up through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass toward vibrant Marrakech. Spend the afternoon at your own pace, then go to the lively main square Jemaa el-Fna for your evening meal.

Marrakech

Essaouira
Travel to Essaouira, a coastal town known for excellent beaches and surfing. On the way, you'll pass through a unique argan tree forest, the only ecosystem where these trees grow. Stop to visit a local women's association that makes argan oil and watch for goats grazing in the tree branches. Once in Essaouira, explore the impressive walls, charming medina, and lively fishing harbor. Try fresh seafood for lunch or dinner.

Travel back to Casablanca along the coastal route with stops along the way. You'll visit Safi, known for surfing beaches and Atlantic Ocean views. Explore El Jadida's Portuguese cistern and walk the ramparts, visiting the Church of the Assumption before lunch. Continue to Azemmour, an artistic community with a beautiful 16th-century medina between the Oum Er-Rbia River and ocean. Arrive in Casablanca for check-in, then explore and have dinner.
