  1. Day 1

    Casablanca to Rabat

    You'll arrive in Casablanca and get a private driver to take you to Rabat, Morocco's capital. The rest of the day is yours to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Check out the Royal Palace, walk through the Chellah Necropolis ruins, and see Hassan Tower along with the Mausoleum of Mohamed V. After that, wander around the medina's souks and finish up at the Kasbah des Oudaifs as the day winds down.

    Rabat to Chefchaouen

    A private driver takes you from Rabat to Chefchaouen. Once there, you can explore the medina with its distinctive blue-painted buildings and Andalusian architecture. Spend time at Plaza Uta el-Hammam and the kasbah, then walk through the Quartier Al Andalous. Later, grab tea at Ras El Ma Spring. By evening, head to the Spanish Mosque to catch the sunset from up there.

    Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

    Your private transfer heads toward Fes with stops along the way. First you'll see the Volubilis Roman complex, then continue to Meknes to see the imperial city. There you can check out Bou Inania Madrasa and Dar Jamaa palace. After that, it's on to Fes where you'll visit the Marinid Tombs for panoramic views, walk through the medina, and settle into your traditional riad for dinner.

    A local guide takes you through the Fes medina starting at the Blue Gate. You'll navigate the bustling souks and visit Chouara Tannery along with Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University. Next, tour either Bou Inania or Al Attarine Madrasa, then see the Mellah and Royal Palace. There's also an optional visit to Borj Nord museum.     Fes to Merzouga

    You'll travel by private transfer toward Merzouga with stops to meet nomadic shepherds and Berber families along the way. When you reach Erg Chebbi, you'll see sand dunes with peaks rising over 650 feet. Take a camel ride through the dunes, then enjoy dinner and Berber music around a campfire. You can choose to stay in a hotel, auberge, or tent depending on what appeals to you.

You'll meet local nomads and have tea with a family, then visit Gnawa House in Khemliya village to learn about traditional Moroccan spiritual music. If you're interested, you can try sandboarding on the dunes or join an optional quad ATV tour for more adventure.

    Rissani - Tinghir - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley - Skoura

    This day starts early so you can catch the desert sunrise in Merzouga. Then you'll visit Rissani's donkey market before traveling to Tinghir to see the ancient Jewish quarter. Later, explore Todra Gorge with its impressive 300-meter walls. From there, visit the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs and Dades Valley with its rose fields. Depending on the season, you might see the Rose Festival in May or watch rose distillation. The day ends in Skoura palm grove.

    Skoura

    You'll spend time in Skoura's southern oasis with a one-hour guided walk through the vast palm grove. During this walk, you'll meet local families and visit villages while learning about the region's unique architecture and history. Check out a pottery factory and see traditional farming methods in action. At midday, have lunch with a local family in their traditional house where you'll learn about local food and culture. The day finishes with an authentic tea ceremony.

You'll see Ouarzazate, a famous film location, and visit Taourirt Kasbah with the Atlas Mountains as a backdrop. Then explore Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The route goes over the Atlas Mountains via Tizi n'Tichka Pass before arriving in vibrant Marrakech. Once there, settle in and explore Jemaa el-Fna square in the evening when musicians and performers set up shop with food stalls.

    Marrakech

    A local guide leads you through the Red City starting at Jemaa el-Fna Square. You'll explore famous souks including spice towers at Souk el Attarine, Souk Smata for slippers, Souk Haddadine for brass and silver work, and Souk des Teinturiers where cloth gets dyed. After that, visit the 19th-century Bahia Palace to see its gardens and interiors. Next, check out Koutoubia Mosque and the 12th-century Menara Gardens. Your afternoon is free to explore Le Jardin Secret on your own.

    Essaouira

    A local guide meets you under the clock tower in the medina to start a tour of Essaouira's 30-hectare area. You'll twist through wide bright streets, browse souks and leafy plazas with whitewashed houses. Head to Moulay Hassan Square and the harbor to watch craftsmen building fishing boats and mending nets. From there, explore the Portuguese Castelo Real of Mogador, Borj El Barmil tower, and Skala de la Kasbah. The tour covers the city's Jewish heritage including Haim Pinto Synagogue from the early 18th century and the Mellah district. It ends at Essaouira Beach for a coastal walk.

    Essaouira

    This is a free day to soak in Essaouira's unique atmosphere and historic architecture. The city has a layered past with Berbers, Phoenicians, Romans, and Portuguese all leaving their mark (the Portuguese fortress was built in 1506). You'll notice the blue and white buildings and the art-centric population. The city hosts the annual Gnawa and World Music Festival and attracts windsurfers and kitesurfers. Shop the souks for souvenirs, sample grilled sardines at the fish auction in the market hall, wander the beach, or explore however you like.
