Do you know If I can get a visa on arrival in Nicaragua. I am an Indian passport holder living in the UK & also have a valid US B1/B2 visa. I know I do not need a visa when I enter Guatemala & can use my US visa to obtain tourist permit which lets me also travel to the neighbouring countries. However since this tour starts in Nicaragua, I wanted to check if you can help find out if I can get a visa on arrival.

A great tour overall. I would recommend including a volcano hike around Antigua as part of this tour. At least offer it as an optional activity. As well, include an official city tour from a local guide. Antigua is such a beautiful city, it merits a few hours with an expert to tell you about it's history. I would also suggest extending the tour by a day and staying one extra night in San Ignacio, so that people have time to do more optional tours. As is, we only had time to visit the ATM cave. Intrepid offers a few optional activities, but there's no time for them. The tour guide, Reyes de Leon was wonderful, a very knowledgeable and friendly man! Hotels were good too, centrally located.

I enjoyed the trip even though it started out rough with a very early departure from Antigua. Rayes was a good tour guide and I had alot of fun.

The tour was well-organized and ran smoothly. Our guide, Pedro, did a great job handling all our requests like finding us a restaurant with great vegetarian options. It was a fast-paced tour, but we got to see everything we wanted to see in three cities. Highly recommend Intrepid as a tour provider.

- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 19th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 19th, 2025, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Intrepid Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
