Hanoi

Hanoi to Sapa
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll have free time before your limousine picks you up for the drive to Sapa. It's a relaxing trip through northern Vietnam's mountain landscape, so you can settle back and watch the scenery change.

- Day 4
Sapa
A group trekking tour takes you through Muong Hoa Valley. You'll trek about 6 km down to Y Linh Ho, a Black H'mong village, then 2 km more through rice terraces to Lao Chai before heading to Ta Van. Lunch happens with a local family who share their traditional architecture and customs. The return trek is 2 km back to your bus.

Sapa to Hanoi
Trek about 4 km down to Cat Cat village where Black H'mong people live. You'll relax by a waterfall and explore what's left of a French colonial power station. After a picnic lunch by the river, trek 3 km to Sin Chai village at Fansipan Mountain's base with great views. Then it's back to Sapa by jeep, followed by a limousine ride to Hanoi.

Check out and head to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll board a shared cruise around noon and have lunch onboard while sailing past limestone islets. The afternoon opens up for swimming, kayaking, or cave visits depending on what your boat offers. Watch the sunset, have dinner, and settle in for the night.

- Day 9
Hue
Start around 8:00 AM with a 30-minute dragon boat cruise along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue's oldest pagoda. Then tour the Hue Imperial Citadel, home of Vietnam's last royal dynasty, and walk through the busy Dong Ba Market. After lunch with Hue's local dishes, you'll visit royal tombs like Khai Dinh King's Tomb with its mix of Western and Eastern styles, plus Minh Mang King's Tomb. Stop by conical hat and incense stick villages to see traditional crafts before returning to your hotel around 4 PM.

Hoi An
A private walking tour shows you this ancient town's character. You'll cross the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge built by Japanese traders in the 1600s, walk through the 200-year-old Tan Ky Old House to see its Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese architectural blend, and visit the impressive Fujian Assembly Hall where merchants worshipped the sea goddess Mazu. Local artisans teach you traditional lantern-making so you can create a souvenir. The tour ends at Hoi An Market, then you can wander around on your own.

You'll stop at Unicorn Island to explore orchards, taste tropical fruits, and hear Vietnamese folk music, plus visit a family business and bee farm with honey tea and homemade coconut candy. Siem Reap Departure
