I just wrapped up the “Discover Indochina: Odyssey” tour, and it was so amazing. Over 22 days, I fell in love with the vibrant culture of Vietnam, especially the peaceful space in Ba Vi and the natural beauty of Ha Long Bay. Cambodia’s Angkor Wat was a highlight—watching the sunrise there was simply magical. And Thailand offered the perfect mix of bustling markets and relaxing beaches.

During this Odyssey Vietnam - Cambodia - Thailand In 22 Days tour, you will join the group tours in Vietnam (group size maybe 12-14 people, can be more for Halong cruise trip). The group tour is NOT that you share with the same group from the beginning till the end. Most of our tours are partial group tours in which you will have different groups for excursion at each place, but airport pick up/transfer and accommodation are private, just join a group on days you have a tour. The tours in Cambodia and Thailand are private.

    • Vietnam Tour FunOperatorWritten September 2025

You should avoid the period from 14th - 22nd February 2026 because it's the Lunar New Year - the biggest holiday of Vietnamese people, many businesses and services may be closed or have limited hours, crowd in some destinations, and you have to pay Public holiday surcharge or Compulsory Gala Dinner (if any), which are NOT included in our package.

The cycling is one of many activities of those tours so yes, you can walk or take a rest to enjoy the sightseeing, NOT compulsory to join the cycling. During this Odyssey Vietnam - Cambodia - Thailand In 22 Days tour you will join the group tours in Vietnam (group size maybe 12-14 people). Based on your initial request for a solo traveler, departing on Nov 1st 2025, the price with 4-star accommodation will be: USD 5,626 (Upfront Payment) + USD 754 (Local Payment) = USD 6,380/person. The Local Payment covers airfare during the trip (except for international flights for arrival and departure of this trip), the English-speaking guide fee, and some other local fees for a wholesome experience. You can pay Local Payment on arrival by bank transfer, cash (new USD bills), or credit card payment link.

i want to ask of if i do the reservation, for example, to july 25th, i can re-schedule myntravel for example to 1st or maybe the 10 of august.

    • Vietnam Tour FunOperatorWritten June 2025

Currently, we do not support tours that have groups that can join you from the beginning to the end of the trip. Each customer will have a different convenient schedule, such as their duration, their travel date, or the different international flights. Therefore, it will be difficult to find someone with the same dates, the same interests as you, as well as willing to share the room with you.

    • Vietnam Tour FunOperatorWritten June 2025

Yes, it's flexible if you want to change the travel date or add pre or post-accommodation. However, you need to inform us at least 30 days in advance of your original travel date. We're willing to amend the services for you one time, but for another time, there is a surcharge fee applied.

I am aware that traveling alone raises the costs, however, I did not consider that if I consider the price of the promotion of US$2,080, it will practically double. Which is a budget that is out of my reach for now.

Regarding your concerns about the bicycling part on day 2 and on day 5, I would like to clarify: On day 2, if you can't take a ride, you can go for a walk in these villages to visit local houses and interact with local people. On day 5, you can skip the cycling part (around 45 mins) and wait the group at the restaurant for lunch.

I am interested in the tour but would like to know does this tour go up to Chang MI up into the hills of Thailand. My mother travelled there many years ago where she spoke of the local market being there. The second question I really don't want to travel if it is very hot and humid what time of the year is the best time weather wise to travel into this region.
