Itinerary
- Day 1
Lusaka
You'll arrive in Lusaka and check into your hotel. The afternoon is yours to settle in and rest. Later, there's a team briefing and dinner at the hotel where you'll meet your group and get a sense of what's ahead for the week.

- Day 2
Lusaka to Zambezi River Camp
An early 6am departure gets you heading toward the Zambezi River. The drive takes about 4 hours total, with the first half on paved road and the second half crossing dusty dirt tracks through the bush. You'll arrive at your riverside camp in the early afternoon where wildlife like elephants, buffalos, eland, hyenas, hippos, and monkeys move around freely. After settling in, there's an afternoon safari walk with a professional guide, then dinner under the stars by the river.

- Day 3
Mana Pools
You'll start with coffee and birdsong before heading out on a walking safari with an armed, experienced ranger through the Mana Pools floodplain. This approach gives you a more direct connection to the African bush than driving. Back at camp you'll have brunch, then spend the afternoon by the river watching for wildlife. An afternoon game drive follows, and you'll have an early dinner to get proper rest before the next day.

Mana Pools to Harare to Chinoyi
An early departure takes you via Harare with a 1-hour stop at Chinoyi Cave to see this natural formation. From there you'll continue on to your hotel for the night. Dinner is served at the hotel.

Landmarks Chinoyi Cave - Day 5
Great Zimbabwe Ruins
You'll transfer to Masvingo and have lunch upon arrival. After freshening up, head out to the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, an 11th-century city that was as populated as Paris during its peak. You'll spend much of the day exploring the remarkably preserved drywall rock structures that have lasted nearly 1,000 years.

Khami National Monument
An early morning departure gets you to Bulawayo where you'll explore Khami National Monument, the former capital's most significant archaeological site. The site is known for its distinctive retaining walls, some of the earliest of their type in the region. You'll see one of the longest decorated walls here and several earthen houses still visible on the rocky hills.

Bulawayo to Matobo National Park
Departing at 8am, you'll head to Matobo National Park. The day includes visiting Rhodes Grave and World View, then rhino walking with guides to track them on foot. You'll also explore Bushman Cave Paintings and encounter various animals. The Matobo Hills themselves are striking with their sculpted rock formations, whaleback domes, and castle-like structures formed over millions of years. You'll return to the hotel for dinner.

Victoria Falls
After breakfast you'll drive 6 hours to Victoria Falls, arriving in time for dinner at the hotel. The next morning after breakfast, there's a walking safari tour of the falls where you'll see the Cataracts, the Livingstone statue, and various birds and plants in the rainforest. Later you'll take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi watching hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and birds. Optional activities like helicopter flights, elephant riding, or lion walks can be arranged directly with your guide. At 7pm you'll have dinner at the Boma with a drum show.

Landmarks Victoria Falls - Day 11
Victoria Falls Departure
After breakfast you'll transfer to Victoria Falls airport for your onward flights. Your tour ends here.
