Zürich/Basel to Breisach
You'll board your river cruise ship by 5 pm after arriving in Zürich or Basel (your flight needs to land by 3 pm). Get settled into your cabin and have dinner on board as the ship heads toward Breisach.

Breisach
Pick one activity for the day: cycle along the Rhine with your Adventure Host, take a full-day guided trip to the Black Forest to see the Vogtsbauernhof open-air museum and watch traditional butter-making, or walk through Freiburg's medieval old town with vineyards all around. You can also visit the village of Colmar in the morning if you'd like. That evening, your Beer Expert gives a lecture while you cruise toward Strasbourg.

Stop by the Adventure Center this morning to select your activities. Other options include the Maginot Line fortifications or Alsace's wine region. Or simply have free time for museums and wandering before the ship sails to Rüdesheim.

Choose your Rüdesheim experience: hike through vineyards with your Adventure Host, ride an open-air cable car up to the Niederwald Monument and enjoy local coffee, or tour the Mechanical Music Museum plus coffee tasting. After lunch, relax on the Sky Deck as you cruise through the Rhine Gorge to Boppard. Spend free time on the Rheinallee Promenade for snacks and local wine, then continue cruising to Frankfurt with live entertainment.

Finish with free time and a glass of Rauchbier before cruising to Nuremberg.
