Marseille to Arles
You'll arrive in Marseille and need to get to the port by 3 pm, with boarding at 5 pm on your river cruise ship. After settling into your suite, you'll spend your first night docked in Arles, so take some time to get oriented and relax onboard.

Arles to Avignon
This morning offers choices through your Adventure Host: a power walk, a painting workshop focused on van Gogh's techniques, or a guided walking tour of Arles that includes the Roman Amphitheater. You'll have free time to grab a coffee at Le Café Van Gogh, and then the ship sails to Avignon in the evening.

Avignon

Don't skip the medieval Pont Saint-Bénézet, and later there's live entertainment back on the ship.

After a relaxed morning cruise to Viviers, you can either hike up to the hilltop Cathedral or join a guided walk through the Old Town with local food tastings included. Later the ship continues to Tain l'Hermitage for the evening.

Tain l'Hermitage to Tournon to Lyon
You'll start in Tournon with your choice of activities: a guided hike or a walking tour of the medieval city and its 16th-century castle. Then cruise to Lyon in early afternoon, watch a pastry demonstration from a French chef, and finish with a French cuisine tasting dinner paired with wine from your Master of Wine.

You'll have free time to bike through town squares and along the riverbanks. The evening brings a dinner inspired by chef Paul Bocuse and live entertainment as the ship sails toward Tournus.
