Your river cruise begins today in Frankfurt. You'll need to arrive at the airport by 3 pm, then head to the ship for a 5 pm boarding. Get settled into your suite and have dinner while the boat starts moving toward the Main River.

Würzburg

The rest of the day is free to wander through Würzburg's Christmas markets at your own pace.

Start the morning with an onboard lecture about Christmas traditions while sailing. Later, a guided tour takes you through medieval Bamberg to see dozens of nativity scenes, from tiny ones to life-size displays. You'll have time to check out the Christmas markets and try traditional German food. Evening brings live entertainment on board before heading toward Nuremberg.
