Lyon to Tournus
Flights into Lyon need to arrive by 2 pm, and you'll board your Suite Ship by 5 pm. Your first night on the water is spent docked in Tournus, so you'll have time to settle in and get your bearings once on board.

Tournus to Trévoux
Start by checking out Tournus, one of Burgundy's most significant monastic centers dating back centuries. Head to the Adventure Center this morning where your Adventure Host walks through what's available for the rest of your time. Back on the ship, you'll have a cheese tasting before sailing toward Trévoux for your overnight stay.

Trévoux to Lyon
The ship sails to Lyon this morning and you pick your activity: take a bike through the city's architectural district, crossing bridges and following the riverbanks, or go on a guided tour starting from Fourvière Hill down through the Old Town. Later there's a WWII and French Resistance lecture on board, with live entertainment after dinner.

Tournon to Viviers
A guided walking tour takes you through Tournon's medieval streets and its impressive 16th-century castle. After lunch, you'll sail to Viviers where a late afternoon tour shows off the pale stone buildings and Romanesque cathedral. The evening brings live entertainment on board.

You have time to explore on your own for art galleries, theaters, and museums, or pick an optional trip to either Pont du Gard or Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine cellars. Live entertainment happens on board that evening.

After breakfast, you'll drive to Nice on the French Riviera's Mediterranean coast. The drive itself is spectacular with views the whole way. Note that on May 20 and June 3 departures, you'll stay overnight in Cannes instead of Nice.

Nice
A guided sightseeing tour of Nice takes you through the narrow, winding streets of Vieux Nice and its baroque churches, an area that's stayed much the same since the 1700s. On May 20 and June 3 departures, you'll do a Cannes walking tour in the morning with Nice sightseeing in the afternoon.
