Budapest
You'll arrive in Budapest and have the day to settle in. This is your chance to relax and get comfortable in Hungary's capital, which sits right on the Danube. Take it easy, grab a meal somewhere, and start getting used to the city's vibe.

Budapest
A guided city tour takes you through Budapest's main sights, including Heroes' Square. After the tour wraps up, the afternoon is yours. Head to the Chain Bridge if you like, check out some local cafes, or hike up into the hills overlooking the Danube for some nice views.

Budapest to Vienna
You've got a free day before boarding your ship in the evening. Walk around the Royal Palace grounds in the morning, then head to one of the thermal bath spas the city's known for. Grab lunch at a restaurant with a garden or rooftop, then make your way to the ship to board for an overnight cruise to Vienna.

The afternoon is free to check out Prater amusement park, explore more museums, or bike around. Live entertainment happens on board later.

Dürnstein to Melk
Learn about King Richard the Lionheart at the castle overlooking Dürnstein. Grab coffee or a cocktail on the Sky Deck as you sail through the Wachau Valley toward Melk. Choose between biking along the Danube or a guided walk. Once in Melk, visit the Benedictine Abbey to see the frescoed ceilings and ornate pipe organ. There's an optional wine tasting from the valley, then you'll cruise to Passau by evening.

Passau
A guided walk through Passau teaches you about this 'City of Three Rivers' where the Danube, Inn, and Ilz meet. If you'd rather do something bigger, there's a full-day optional excursion to either Salzburg (Mozart's hometown) or the beautiful Bohemian town of Cesky Krumlov. You'll return to the ship and cruise to Regensburg in the evening.

An onboard lecture covers the Main-Danube Canal and how it connects the Danube to the Main rivers. For the day itself, bike through Roth's Lauter valley with your Adventure Host, take a guided tour of the Bavarian town of Roth with its half-timbered houses and 1535 hunting lodge, or see Nuremberg's medieval architecture, Gothic cathedral, and Kaiserburg Castle on a guided tour. There's an optional Nuremberg Rally Grounds tour. Later you'll cruise to Nuremberg.
