  1. Day 1

    Budapest

    You'll arrive in Budapest and have the day to settle in. This is your chance to relax and get comfortable in Hungary's capital, which sits right on the Danube. Take it easy, grab a meal somewhere, and start getting used to the city's vibe.

  2. Day 2

    Budapest

    A guided city tour takes you through Budapest's main sights, including Heroes' Square. After the tour wraps up, the afternoon is yours. Head to the Chain Bridge if you like, check out some local cafes, or hike up into the hills overlooking the Danube for some nice views.

  3. Day 3

    Budapest to Vienna

    You've got a free day before boarding your ship in the evening. Walk around the Royal Palace grounds in the morning, then head to one of the thermal bath spas the city's known for. Grab lunch at a restaurant with a garden or rooftop, then make your way to the ship to board for an overnight cruise to Vienna.

Bike the Danube Island with your Adventure Host, take a guided museum tour of the Kunsthistorisches Museum, or do a guided city tour hitting the Imperial Palace, Vienna Opera House, and St. Stephen's Cathedral. The afternoon is free to check out Prater amusement park, explore more museums, or bike around. Live entertainment happens on board later.

    Dürnstein to Melk

    Learn about King Richard the Lionheart at the castle overlooking Dürnstein. Grab coffee or a cocktail on the Sky Deck as you sail through the Wachau Valley toward Melk. Choose between biking along the Danube or a guided walk. Once in Melk, visit the Benedictine Abbey to see the frescoed ceilings and ornate pipe organ. There's an optional wine tasting from the valley, then you'll cruise to Passau by evening.

You'll return to the ship and cruise to Regensburg in the evening.

There's an optional Nuremberg Rally Grounds tour. Later you'll cruise to Nuremberg.

    We would like to thank our Statesman Attendee that took care of all our needs in our room 107. He was friendly and did an amazing job, Marisio our waiter served us with the highest respect and friendliness. Over all Avalon have very good staff and always a smile- nothing too much trouble. The ship was so clean, food was spectacular. We had a surprise group of singers Gwen and Charles who brought great entertainment. The other entertainer was amazing. Loved the top deck BBQ. We met lots of new friends aboard. Thank you Avalon for a trip well executed.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
