Itinerary
- Day 1
Pokhara to Ghandruk
After breakfast in Pokhara, you'll travel by private vehicle for roughly 2 hours to Sayuli Bazar, passing through Nayapul and Birethati where you'll stop at the permits checkpoint. From there, the trek takes about 3 hours through green paddy fields heading toward Ghandruk village at 1,800m/5,905ft. You'll get your first views of the Annapurna ranges once you arrive.

- Day 2
Ghandruk to Sinuwa
Starting from Ghandruk, the trail heads downward toward Kumrung river Valley before climbing steeply up to Durbin Danda and then to Chhomrung village at 2,210m/7,250ft. After crossing the stone steps down to Chhomrung Khola stream, you'll ascend again to Sinuwa at 2,200m/7,218ft for your overnight stop.

Landmarks Kumrung River Valley Chhomrung Khola - Day 3
Sinuwa to Deurali
Following breakfast, trek through terraced fields and rhododendron forest to reach Kuldi at 2,470m/8,104ft, then enter the Upper Modi Khola Valley. You'll pass through Bamboo village at 2,310m/7,579ft where snow is common during winter months. After lunch at Dovan Village, continue climbing to Dovan at 2,600m/8,530ft, walking through dense forest with bamboo and rhododendron before passing Hotel Himalaya at 2,920m/9,580ft and Hinko Cave at 3,170m/10,400ft. The day finishes with a climb to Deurali at 3,200m/10,495ft.

Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp
From Deurali, tackle the narrow and strenuous trail for 2 to 3 hours reaching Machhapuchhre Base Camp at 3,700m/12,139ft. You'll stop for tea or coffee here before continuing on to Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130m/13,550ft. From this vantage point, you can see Mt. Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Gandharvachuli, Hiunchuli, and Mt. Fishtail. Stick around for sunset views over the mountains.

- Day 5
Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
Wake early at Annapurna Base Camp to catch the views of the Annapurna range before clouds roll in and block the sight. From your position surrounded by snow-capped peaks, you can see terraced fields and grasslands far below. The southern slope of the Annapurna range in the Himalayas becomes quite clear in the morning light. After taking in the scenery and getting photos, head back down trekking to Bamboo village at 2,310m/7,579ft.

Landmarks Annapurna Base Camp - Day 6
Bamboo to Jhinu Danda
Trek from Bamboo village back to Kuldi at 2,470m/8,104ft, then descend through rhododendron forest toward Sinuwa and Lower Sinuwa. You'll climb down stone steps to reach Chhomrung at 2,210m/7,250ft, then leave the Modi Khola Valley behind. Continue descending to Taklung village and keep going downward to Jhinu Danda at 1,500m/4,921ft, where the natural hot springs offer a nice way to relax after the trekking.

Jhinu Danda to Pokhara
Depart Jhinu Danda by private jeep heading back to Pokhara. Once you're in town, there are several sites to check out at your own expense, including Davis Falls, Phewa Tal, Begnas Tal, Rupa Tal, and World Peace Pagoda. You can spend time on an evening walk or cycling around the Lakeside region if you're interested. Wrap up your trek with a full Nepali cuisine dinner to celebrate completing the trek.
