With the Rila-Pirin trek, I followed a friend's advice and gave all of the arrangement-making over to Traventuria. I wanted to only have to think about the beauty and challenges of the Rila and Pirin mountains each day and not whether my reservations were vulnerable to unexpected events. Traventuria took excellent care of us - easily moving us (and our bags) from inn to inn and locally for the daily walks, and sorting all the places we stayed. Orientation materials were top-notch! - Nathan· September 8th, 2023Excellent tour company! We are returning customers, who were impressed the first time we used Traventuria. And will definitely continue using them. Climbing the highest peaks of Bulgaria was challenging for us, but we didn't regret the efforts we made to achieve this task. The nature is still intact on many places, unlike the Alps, where you often walk under ski lifts, close to ski slopes, or behind crowds. The GPS tracks we got, meant to supplement the roadbook, were of great help. Accommodations - simple, but clean, serving good breakfast each morning. Pre-tour information was among the most detailed we have ever received for such type of tours. On-time transfers, accurate route descriptions and smooth ground organization - everything went flawlessly. Very different mountains, incomparable, but equally memorable! All arrangements went smooth. Accommodations were all good, food was very good, local transfers - always on time, route notes - clear, and trustworthy.
