In Rüdesheim, check out the Mechanical Instrument Cabinet, take a gondola over the vineyards to the Niederwald Monument for wine tasting, or hike the vineyard trails. Later sail toward Lahnstein through the Rhine Gorge and visit Lahneck Castle before evening.
