Arrival in New Delhi
You'll be picked up at New Delhi airport and taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to wander around the city at your own pace, checking out the busy streets and tree-lined boulevards to get a feel for India.

Delhi Sightseeing
You'll spend the full day seeing Delhi's historical sites starting at Rajghat, then heading to Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. A rickshaw ride through the busy Chandni Chowk market in Old Delhi comes next, followed by driving past the Presidential House and India Gate. After that, you'll walk through Humayun's Tomb and finish at the Qutab Minar, a notable brick minaret structure.

After breakfast, you'll head to New Delhi airport for your flight to Gaya. Once you arrive, you're transferred to your hotel in Bodhgaya. After settling in, you'll visit the Mahabodhi Temple to see the Bodhi Tree, Muchalinda Lake, and the Vajrasana, the specific place where Buddha meditated.

- Day 4
Bodhgaya
You'll have early breakfast and then head to the Mahabodhi Temple to see the Bodhi Tree, Muchalinda Lake, and Vajrasana. Next comes viewing the 80-foot Great Buddha Statue in a meditative pose. You'll check out various monasteries including the Thai Monastery, Japanese Temple, and Tibetan Monastery. Then you'll visit Sujata Kuti, the house where Sujata offered Buddha rice pudding. If time allows, you can head to the Dungeshwari Cave Temples where Buddha meditated before coming to Bodhgaya.

Bodhgaya to Rajgir
After breakfast, you'll travel to Rajgir. First up is Vulture's Peak, a sacred site with views where Buddha gave important teachings. You'll see Bimbisara's Prison, where King Bimbisara was imprisoned. Then you'll walk through Venu Vana (Bamboo Grove), a peaceful monastery, and check out the Cyclopean Wall, an ancient limestone structure. You'll also see the Rajgir Glass Bridge and finish at Ghora Katora Lake for some time to relax.

You'll leave around 7:00 AM heading to Vaishali with a stop to see the Ruins of Ancient Nalanda University. Once you arrive in Vaishali, you'll visit the Ashoka Pillar, Vishwa Shanti Stupa (World Peace Pagoda), Buddha Stupas I and II, Abhishek Pushkarini ancient tank, and the Vaishali Archaeological Museum.

Vaishali to Kushinagar
After breakfast, you'll travel to Kushinagar. Upon arriving, you'll visit the Parinirvana Stupa (Mahaparinirvana Temple), where Gautama Buddha attained Nirvana. You'll also see the Matha Kaur Shrine where Buddha delivered his last sermon, and the Ramabhar Buddhist Stupa where Buddha was cremated.

Kushinagar to Lumbini
After breakfast, you'll head to the Indo-Nepal border for immigration processing, which could take 3 to 4 hours depending on how busy it is. Once that's done, you'll proceed to your hotel in Lumbini and have the rest of the day free.

- Day 9
Lumbini and Kapilvastu
After breakfast, you'll visit Mayadevi Temple, the birthplace of Buddha, and walk through the sacred pond Puskarini. You'll see the Ashoka Pillar that Emperor Ashoka put up in 249 BC. Next comes the World Peace Pagoda for reflection. You'll take a rickshaw to see several temples and monasteries including Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Myanmar, and Vietnamese temples. Later, you'll travel 50 kilometers to Kapilvastu to visit the Gotihawa Stupa and Pillar, Tilaurakot (ancient Shakya capital), the Eastern and Western Gates, and the Kapilvastu Museum.

Lumbini to Shravasti
You'll grab a packed breakfast and head to the Sonauli Border for immigration processing to get back into India from Nepal, which may take 3 to 4 hours. After finishing immigration, you'll proceed to Shravasti, the former capital of the Kosala kingdom. Sightseeing starts at Jetavana Gardens where Buddha spent 24 rainy seasons. You'll visit the Ananda Bodhi Tree, Angulimala Stupa, Anathapindika Stupa, and Orajhar, famous for two miracles performed by Buddha.

Varanasi and Sarnath
You'll start early with a boat ride on the River Ganges in the peaceful morning. You can visit the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple or take a walk through the sacred Ghats of Varanasi. Back at the hotel for breakfast, and then you'll head to Sarnath to see the Sarnath Archaeological Site and Dhamek Stupa, the Ashoka Pillar, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar, and the Sarnath Archaeological Museum. You'll also visit the Chaukhandi Stupa marking where Buddha met his disciples. Your day finishes with evening Aarti on the banks of the River Ganges.
