Zagreb
You'll arrive at Zagreb Airport and pick up your rental car, then drive into the city center. Spend the day walking through the old town and checking out the cultural sites like museums and historical buildings scattered throughout. - Days 2 - 3
Plitvice Lakes National Park
Drive south to Plitvice Lakes National Park, which is the oldest in southeastern Europe. Once there, you'll walk the wooden boardwalks and bridges that wind through the park, seeing the turquoise lakes and waterfalls as you go. The network of paths covers about a kilometer, and you can take your time moving between different sections to see all the cascading water features.

Explore the churches, monasteries, and palaces within the walls, then find a cozy konoba or restaurant for traditional Croatian food and drinks. If you want a beach day, there are good options nearby where you can relax and swim before your departure.
