Arrival in San Salvador
Your private driver will be waiting at El Salvador International Airport with a welcome board. From there, you'll head to your hotel in downtown San Salvador, getting settled in and oriented to the city.

- Day 2
San Salvador Volcano and City Tour
After a 30-minute drive, you'll reach El Boqueron National Park to see San Salvador Volcano. There's a volcano museum to walk through and a viewing platform where you can get panoramic views of the city. Later in the day, you'll tour the capital itself, checking out the National Palace, Iglesia El Rosario, National Theater, and the Monument to the Divine Savior of the World at Plaza Salvador del Mundo.

Suchitoto and Indigo Workshop
You'll drive about 1.5 hours to Suchitoto and start with the colonial Iglesia Santa Lucia, then take in the views of Lake Suchitlan where you might spot migratory birds. From there, tour the house of Alejandro Coto, El Salvador's first film director. In the afternoon, you'll participate in an indigo dyeing workshop with local artisans learning traditional textile production, and afterward head out to Los Tercios Waterfall.

Cerro Verde National Park and Tazumal Archaeological Park
Early morning pickup for the 1.5-hour drive to Cerro Verde National Park. You'll hike to Santa Ana Volcano, El Salvador's highest peak, a 4-hour adventure with views of Lake Coatepeque and Izalco Volcano including the crater rim and its fluorescent green lake. After lunch, you'll explore Tazumal Archaeological Park in Chalchuapa to see Mayan tombs, pyramids, palaces, drainage systems, and a ball court. By evening, you'll transfer to Concepcion de Ataco for the night.

Ruta de Las Flores to El Tunco
You'll travel along Ruta de Las Flores, the most scenic route in El Salvador. Starting in Concepcion de Ataco, you'll see street murals and local handicrafts, then move through Apaneca's coffee plantations and Juayua (the largest town, known for weekend food festivals). You'll stop to experience Nahuizalco's indigenous Pipil culture and markets, passing lakes and waterfalls along the way. By evening, you'll reach the coastal town of El Tunco and check into your beach hotel.

- Day 6
Coastal Journey to La Libertad
You'll travel east along El Salvador's 300 km coastline to La Libertad, a port town. There you'll experience local seaside life under tall coconut trees, watch families by the water, and feel the soft black sands. You can stroll the broad malecon by the long pier, observe local fishing activity, and explore the seafood market to get a real sense of the coastal culture.

El Zonte Surfing
You'll spend the full day at El Zonte for surfing. The beach has excellent waves year-round for both beginners and advanced surfers, and beginners can sign up for full-day classes right on the beach. If you're lucky, you might see turtles and whales jumping out of the water while you're out on the waves.
