    Nicaragua was the last country in central America we visited. This is a country of lakes and volcanoes. The weather was perfect in February for a visit of the mix of history and scenery. To extend the tour we also visited Managua and Leon by our own. Our hotel at San Juan del Sur is located in a very touristic area and it was very noisy during the weekends. It's better to avoid to stay in this area during the weekends if one is bothered by music noises.

    Short but sweet. Learned a bit a history of Granada and of course about Nicaragua. A nice day trip to Ometepe Island and a very relaxing two days in San Juan Del sur.

    An unforgettable journey through South America An incredible 35-day experience through Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Brazil. Everything was perfectly organized: punctual transfers, professional guides and spectacular excursions. We particularly enjoyed Machu Picchu, the Salar d'Uyuni, crossing the Andean lakes, the Perito Moreno glacier and Rio de Janeiro. Impeccable logistics in every country meant we could enjoy our trip without a care in the world. Highly recommended!

    • Yellow fever - Certificate of vaccination required if arriving from an area with a risk of yellow fever transmission for Nicaragua. Ideally 10 days before travel.
  • Visa
    • Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before October 9th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 9th, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Receptivo Aborigen Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Receptivo Aborigen Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
    • The following cards are accepted for "Receptivo Aborigen Tours" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
