Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Cape Town

    You'll arrive in Cape Town and meet your tour director for the transfer to the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel, which sits right at the base of Table Mountain. After you settle in, there's a welcome reception where you'll meet the other travelers on your trip.

  2. Day 2

    Cape Town

    Following breakfast, you'll start with the Castle of Good Hope, the pentagonal fortress built between 1666 and 1679. Next comes the District Six Museum where you'll learn about Cape Town's Apartheid history. Later in the day you'll take the aerial cableway up to Table Mountain's top for views across the city. Dinner at a local restaurant wraps up the evening.

  3. Day 3

    Cape Point - Simon's Town

    After breakfast you'll drive along Chapman's Peak Drive heading toward Cape Point, stopping along the way to take in the South African beaches and small villages. You'll reach Cape Point, the tip of Africa, then continue to Simon's Town for lunch. The penguin colony at Boulders Beach is next before heading back to the hotel.

    Stellenbosch

    This morning includes a freedom of choice activity, then you'll travel to Stellenbosch and spend the afternoon at the Lanzerac Hotel. The property sits in a beautiful mountain setting with historic character and charm throughout.

    Stellenbosch

    After exploring Stellenbosch, you'll spend the rest of your day at the Lanzerac Hotel estate. The grounds are surrounded by mountains and wine farms, giving you the option to relax or try activities available on the property.

  6. Day 6

    Kruger National Park

    You'll fly to Kruger National Park and transfer to your private lodge situated on 15,000 hectares. After settling in, you'll have three nights here to spot the Big Five and over 300 bird species. The day ends with sundowners as the African sun sets, followed by dinner.

  7. Day 7

    Kruger National Park

    A morning game drive gets your day started, then you'll return to relax at the lodge. In the afternoon you'll head out again for another game drive, and the day finishes with a signature experience under the stars.

  8. Day 8

    Kruger National Park

    If you're interested, you can join your guides for a bushwalk through the landscape where they'll teach you to read animal tracks and show you local plants used for medicine. Later you'll do vehicle-based game viewing and raise a toast at sundown to celebrate everything you've seen.

    Johannesburg

    Livingstone

    You'll fly to Livingstone and check out your hotel, which has direct access to Victoria Falls and free-roaming zebras on the grounds. In the late afternoon you'll take a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River with sundowners and canapes.

  11. Day 11

    Victoria Falls

    Today you'll tour Victoria Falls, which the local name 'Mosi-oa-Tunya' translates to 'The Smoke That Thunders.' Your guide will explain the history and geology of this massive sheet of water that spans over 1700 metres with a 108-metre drop. In the afternoon there's a helicopter flight for views from above. Dinner is included this evening.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before March 9th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after March 9th, 2026, a minimum payment of $1,100 is required to confirm your booking with APT. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 120 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
