Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Arusha
Your driver will collect you from the airport and take you to Parrot Hotel Arusha, about 45 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Once you arrive, there's a briefing session about what to expect on your safari ahead. You'll have time to get settled in your room, and if your flight got in early, you can take advantage of optional activities available that afternoon.

Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you'll drive two hours to Tarangire National Park, which has one of the largest elephant populations in the region. During your full-day game drive, you'll see big cats, buffalo, zebra, giraffes, antelope, and lots of bird species. The Tarangire River runs year-round and attracts wildlife constantly. You'll have a picnic lunch in the park, then transfer to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for the evening.

Ndutu Plains to Serengeti
You'll start with breakfast and then drive across the Ndutu plains in the northern Ngorongoro Conservation Area and southern Serengeti. Wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson's gazelle are common sights here, and the alkaline Lake Ndutu is where animals come to drink, giving you great viewing opportunities. Later in the evening, your group transfers to Serengeti Savannah Camp.

Full Day in Ndutu
This is a full day of game driving in Ndutu, which sits between the Ngorongoro and Serengeti ecosystems. If you're here during January through March, you'll see the wildebeest migration and calving season. Cheetahs, lions, leopards, and other big cats roam this area. The off-road driving here makes it different from other game areas. You'll have dinner and spend the night back at Serengeti Savannah Camp.

Central Serengeti
After breakfast, you'll drive from Ndutu to central Serengeti for a full day of game driving at various spots around the park. Early mornings and evenings give you the best chances to spot animals like big cats, jackals, and spotted hyenas. You'll get opportunities to see both sunrise and sunset across the plains. Transfer to Golden Safari Camp for dinner.

Serengeti and Maasai Cultural Experience
Your last game drive in Serengeti includes chances to see big cats, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and different bird species. Part of this day you'll spend time with local Maasai people, watching how they live and learning about their culture at family and community levels. After that, you'll drive to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wild Camp.

Landmarks/POIs Serengeti National Park Ngorongoro Conservation Area  - Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater and Departure
You'll descend to the floor of Ngorongoro Crater, a 102 square mile area and the world's only intact, inactive volcano crater sitting over 600 meters deep. Around 20,000 larger mammals live in this space. The forest habitat here has buffalo, zebras, and other herbivores. After a picnic lunch in the crater, your driver takes you back to the airport for your flight home. If you'd like, you can arrange extra nights in Arusha after the safari.
