Itinerary
- Day 1
San Cristobal Island
You'll arrive at San Cristobal Airport and head straight to your boat for the journey ahead. In the afternoon, the boat takes you to Witch Hill on the northern coast where you can jump in and snorkel in the clear water. Keep an eye out for sea turtles, rays, and various booby birds as you swim around the rocky outcrops.

- Day 2
Bartholomew Island and Chinese Hat Islet
The morning focuses on Bartholomew Island, where you'll see Pinnacle Rock and hike up an extinct volcano for sweeping views across the water. The stair trail gets you to the summit, and from there you head down to snorkel where Galapagos penguins hang out. After lunch, you go to Chinese Hat Islet nearby to walk through lava tubes and see the lava flows up close.

Fernandina Island and Isabela Island
You start at Espinosa Point on Fernandina Island in the morning, one of the most untouched places around. The dramatic lava fields stretch out across the landscape while you spot flightless cormorants and Galapagos hawks. By afternoon, the boat reaches Isabela Island and you visit Tagus Cove, an old anchorage with trails around Lake Darwin and a mangrove beach at Punta Tortuga you can walk along.

Isabela Island
Two different spots on Isabela's west coast are on the agenda today. First is Urbina Bay near Alcedo Volcano, where the coastline actually shifted out in 1954 from an uplift event, and the snorkeling there is good. Later in the day, Moreno Point gives you rocky shores and tide pools for birdwatching, with chances to see green sea turtles or white-tip sharks moving through the water.

North Seymour and South Plaza
North Seymour Island takes up the morning where you walk through arid vegetation and see Galapagos sea lions, blue-footed boobies, land iguanas, and magnificent frigatebirds. After that, you head to South Plaza, a smaller island with steep cliffs and lots of Opuntia cacti. One of the largest sea lion colonies lives here along with colorful land iguanas scattered across the rocky ground.

Floreana Island
Floreana Island has historic sights worth your time. At Post Office Bay in the morning, you'll find a tradition going back to the 1700s where people leave postcards in a barrel for other travelers to deliver. The Baroness Viewpoint sits nearby with easy trails through the local plants and wildlife. In the afternoon, Cormorant Point shows you flamingos and beaches with sand in different colors depending on the mineral content.

Santa Fe Island and Santa Cruz Island
Santa Fe Island fills the morning with its bay and two trail options you can choose from, one leading to a cliff viewpoint and another going through a forest of tall prickly pear cacti. In the afternoon, you travel to Santa Cruz Island for the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center where giant tortoises at different ages are being raised as part of long-term conservation work you can observe.
