We had a fantastic 8 days in Ecuador organized by Guide Ecuador. We didn't have to put much into the planning coz Guidecuador really knew how to make the most of the 8 days. Alex our guide was fantastic. The hotels were really magnificent choices. It was great to know that we were not missing anything important since the trip was planned with someone who knew the area. Thank you amigos for a wonderful experience. We now really want to explore more of South America. Looking forward to planning our next trip.

We selected the Discover Ecuador Tour (17 days) with GuideEcuador Travel for the multiday itinerary, which offers a more in-depth knowledge of Ecuador than other related tours, and for the excellent “value-for-Money” price. It was a wise choice and we had a wonderful experience. The preliminary contacts with Guide Ecuador company were very helpful. They answered promptly to all of our questions and the details of the tour were thoroughly explained. The tour itinerary is wisely planned; we visited the best of the country (one needs weeks and months for experiencing this beautiful country), the Sierra, the Amazon Jungle and the Coast. The hotels, hostels and the Amazon Lodge that we stayed in were excellent Some of them were top class, with rich buffet breakfast, but even the not luxurious ones had a local color and a colonial ambiance, plus they were clean and spacious. Amazon Liana Lodge offered very tasteful and nutritious lunch and dinner from selected local cuisine. Some electric light in the cabins (say 1 hour only at the evening) would be more convenient without destroying the “close to nature” feeling. This tour is a private one and our guide Daniel Maldonado was one of the best guides we ever had. Daniel was very helpful and caring for us. Excellent with English speaking. He had a lot of proposals for activities, excursions and local cuisine. Daniel has amazing knowledge about Ecuador’s history, places, cultures, food. He is a top-class naturalist knowing everything about animals, plants and their uses. He is a joyful company and we had a lot of fun He left space for us and our privacy. We fully appreciate the professionalism and concern of “Guide Ecuador Travel”. When our return flight to Quito was cancelled due to airline ‘s responsibility (Avianca), Guide Ecuador compensated us for the ticket fee and also provided taxi transportation to Quito free of charge!! This tour was a top experience offered by a trusty and responsible tour operator, GuideEcuador Travel, and we highly recommend it! Stelios and Gerie

First time taking Guide Ecuador, and I cannot say how happy I am. From the outset of asking questions and booking the trip, through the arrivals and travels for our 8 Day Ecuador Bucket List tour, it was a GREAT experience. So much positivity and true passion and care for the guest and the places we visited. I came with my family and we had an unforgettable time! Highly recommended

    Asked on September 4th, 2025

We are interested in exploring the Galapagos Islands. However, my husband has poor mobility in his legs, mostly using a wheelchair. He is alright with not going ashore (unless it is a wheelchair friendly place or there is some other form of transport) but, of course, there is a need for him to be able to access the yacht's facilities. Is this possible?

We dont recommend you a cruise ship tour in Galapagos due to the movility issues , you wont enjoy it. Instead we can set a land based program that can work. instead of speed boats you can visit the main islands by plane and land base in the island to see the highlights each day.
