Itinerary
- Day 1
Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara
Your driver will pick you up after breakfast and head toward Masai Mara National Park. The drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley with views of the landscape and small villages along the way. You'll arrive around midday, grab lunch, and then head out on your first game drive. That's when you'll start seeing elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelope, wildebeest, and zebras. As the sun sets, you'll head back to camp for your first night.

Masai Mara
Early morning means waking to birds and the sunrise. After a hearty breakfast, you'll spend the full day on game drives exploring the more remote areas of Masai Mara. If you're visiting during the Great Migration, there's a chance to see wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River. Any time of year you can look for the Big Five, hippos, waterbucks, hyenas, and cheetahs. The park also has over 400 bird species, so bring binoculars.

Masai Mara to Nairobi
You'll have breakfast and then a light game drive before an early lunch. After that, you'll drive out of the park heading back toward Nairobi. The shift from remote safari to the city feels pretty stark after a few days in the wilderness.
