Arrival in Siem Reap
Your guide and driver will meet you at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport holding an About Cambodia Travel & Tours welcome sign. The drive to Siem Reap city gives you a chance to hear about local culture and history from your guide. Once at your hotel, you'll check in and have the rest of the day free to settle in after your flight.

- Day 2
Angkor Wat Sunrise and Angkor Temples
You're heading out before sunrise for the drive to Angkor Wat to catch the sunrise over the massive religious monument. The morning light makes exploring the Angkor Wat complex particularly peaceful. After breakfast back at your hotel, the afternoon takes you through the South Gate of Angkor Thom, then to Bayon Temple with its famous stone faces, followed by Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. You'll see Ta Nei Temple and Ta Prohm Temple with its iconic massive tree roots, grab lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to Banteay Kdei and Srah Srang (Royal Bath) before heading back to your hotel.

- Day 3
Roluos Group, Beng Mealea, and Tonle Sap Floating Village
After breakfast, you'll visit the Roluos Group temples including Lo Lei, Preah Ko, and Bakong, which represent the early temples of the Khmer Empire. Then you're off to Beng Mealea, a remote temple hidden in the jungle where trees and vines grow over the ancient stone structures. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you'll take a private boat cruise on Tonle Sap Lake to Kampong Phluk Floating Village to see how Khmer people live in their floating homes. Your evening is free once you return to the hotel.

Banteay Srei, Angkor Grand Circle, and Pre Rup Sunset
After breakfast, you'll drive through the countryside to Banteay Srei, a 10th-century temple known for its intricate pink sandstone carvings. From there you'll visit a traditional Khmer village where locals make palm sugar and use every part of the palm tree, then head to Banteay Samre temple. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you'll explore temples on the Angkor Grand Circle including Preah Khan, Neak Pean on an artificial island, Ta Som with its tree-grown roots, and Eastern Mebon. Your day ends at Pre Rup Temple where you can watch the sunset over the countryside and ruins.

Siem Reap to Battambang
You're leaving Siem Reap for Battambang, Cambodia's second-largest city. On the way, you'll stop at Angkor Silk Farm to learn about silk production across eight hectares, from the mulberry trees through the silkworm lifecycle to weaving. You'll also visit Banteay Chhmar Temple near the Thai border, a sprawling Angkorian complex with intricate bas-relief carvings. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll arrive in Battambang in the late afternoon, check into your hotel, and have the evening free.

Full Day Battambang Exploration
After breakfast, you're exploring Battambang's traditional villages and cultural sites. You'll see rice paper workshops in Pheam Ek where family-run operations steam and dry rice paste on bamboo frames, then stop at Prohok Market along the Sangke River to watch fermented fish paste being made. Next comes Ek Phnom, an 11th-century Angkorian temple, and Wat Damrei Sor with its white elephant statues. You'll tour the Battambang Provincial Museum, walk through colonial buildings, and then ride the famous Bamboo Train along abandoned railway tracks. After lunch, you'll head to Phnom Banan Temple for panoramic views, then finish at Phnom Sampov where you can explore the Killing Cave and watch over a million bats fly out of the Bat Cave at sunset.

Battambang to Phnom Penh
After breakfast, you're heading from Battambang to Phnom Penh. In Pursat Province, you'll stop at the Marble Stone Carving Village to see artisans working with locally sourced marble. Then you'll visit Kampong Chhnang to explore the Pottery Village where families create handmade clay pots using traditional techniques. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you'll climb Oudong Mountain, the former capital from 1618 to 1866, to visit Vihear Preah Edthareus with its sanctuary housing an 18-cubit Buddha and panoramic countryside views. You'll also visit the Buddhist Meditation Center to learn about Buddhist practices before arriving in Phnom Penh in the late afternoon. After checking in, your evening is free.

Full Day Phnom Penh Exploration
After breakfast, you're exploring Phnom Penh's major cultural and historical sites. You'll visit the Choeung Ek Genocide Center and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21 Prison) where your guide provides historical context. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you'll tour the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, which house national treasures including a life-sized gold Buddha with diamonds. You'll see the Independence Monument and King Norodom Sihanouk's statue, then visit Wat Ounalom, Phnom Penh's oldest Buddhist monastery, and Wat Phnom, the historic hilltop pagoda where the city was founded. Your day ends at Central Market (Phsar Thmey), an Art Deco landmark from the French colonial period where you can browse produce, jewelry, souvenirs, and handicrafts.

Takeo Province Exploration
After breakfast, you're traveling from Phnom Penh to Takeo Province, known as the cradle of Cambodian civilization. You'll climb Phnom Chiso Mountain (130 meters) to visit an 11th-century temple built by King Suryavarman I, then see Wat Prasat Neang Khmao with its distinctive dark-blue appearance. You'll spend time at Phnom Tamao Zoological Park and Wildlife Rescue Center, Cambodia's largest zoo with over 1,200 rescued animals including elephants, tigers, sun bears, gibbons, crocodiles, and leopards.
