Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Gap

    You'll arrive in Gap by lunchtime and get settled at your hotel. At 2:00 pm your guide picks you up for canyoning that includes alpine pools, waterfall rappelling, and natural water slides. Back at the hotel you can clean up before meeting at 7:00 pm for dinner at a local restaurant.

    Breakfast (Hearty buffet breakfast with high-quality local products including cheese, eggs, pastries, and jam, served 7:00-10:00 AM)

    • Guided canyoning with abseiling down waterfalls, plunging into alpine pools, and sliding down natural water slides

    Optional Activities

    • Early arrival (previous day or night train from Paris recommended)
    • Dinner at local restaurant (can be arranged and booked by operator)

  2. Day 2

    Serre Ponçon Lake

    Your guide meets you at 8:30 am for electric mountain biking around Serre Ponçon Lake, where you'll tackle forest trails, single track sections, and get views over the water. After biking, lunch happens at a lakeside restaurant or you can picnic on the beach. The afternoon is yours to try paddleboarding, kayaking, water skiing, or a high ropes course if you want. You'll be back in Gap by 5:00 pm.

  3. Day 3

    La Grande Fistoire Via Ferrata

    Check out in the morning and leave your bags at the hotel. At 8:30 am you'll start La Grande Fistoire, one of the French Alps' most challenging via ferratas, with steel cables, ladders, and bridges offering mountain views throughout. The day ends with three long zip lines to finish things off. You're back in Gap by 2:00 pm, giving you time for an afternoon train or to head home.
