Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll arrive in Kathmandu and get transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is flexible - swing by Peregrine Treks' office in Thamel if you want to meet the team and go over details, or just relax at the hotel and shake off the travel. Come evening, there's a welcome dinner with traditional Nepalese food to kick things off.

- Day 2
Kathmandu
This is a full day of sightseeing around Kathmandu's historic sites. You'll visit Kathmandu Durbar Square where the old palaces stand, then head to Swayambhunath Temple on the hilltop (locals call it the Monkey Temple because, well, monkeys hang out there). After that, Pashupatinath Temple comes next, and you'll finish at Bauddhanath Stupa with its massive white dome. All four sites are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, so there's plenty to take in.

Kathmandu to Chitwan
Eat early, then it's a drive down to Chitwan - about 165 kilometers that takes 4 to 5 hours. You'll travel along the Trishuli River the whole way, so the scenery changes as you drop in elevation. Once you check in at the hotel, there's a briefing about what activities you'll do. Before dinner, take a walk along the Rapti River banks at sunset to get a feel for the place. Later, there's a tribal cultural dance performance after you eat.

Chitwan
Start before sunrise for an elephant safari across the grasslands to hunt for wildlife. You'll see the elephant stables after breakfast, and then you get to bathe the elephants yourself - it's hands-on and fun. In the afternoon, a jungle drive takes you deeper in, then a canoe ride down the Rapti River where you spot crocodiles, dolphins, otters, and water birds. If you want something quieter, there's also bird watching or nature walks available.

Chitwan to Kathmandu
Another early start for bird watching in Chitwan National Park before breakfast. After eating, it's time to head back to Kathmandu - the same 165-kilometer drive takes 4 to 5 hours. You'll roll into the city by evening. Then there's a farewell dinner to wrap up your Nepal trip and celebrate everything you've done over the past week.

Kathmandu Departure
Your last morning. The hotel arranges an airport transfer about 3 hours before your flight leaves, so you have time to pack up and have breakfast if you want. That's it - you're heading home.
